The only way I've managed to progress and get off the island at least is to team up in a party with someone who doesn't have the bug.

Now I'm on the mainland I'm kind of able to follow the primary quests but there are absolutely zero side quests.

The plus side at least is I'm doing an awful lot of exploring... but starting off a game by exploring first is zzzzzzzzz.
can you stay on topic? the issue was people got stuck with no primary quest after the cemetery mission.

So is it fixed now?

Yes, it's fixed. Dockmaster Ahlaro gives you your next primary quest.

This takes you to Elder Suhl, and you can continue.

If you come across any other bugs or issues, please feel free to either make a new thread, or if you feel it is fitting, send it to support http://www.guildwars.com/support/ and they will pass it along to us.

I hope you are all enjoying your new adventure in Elona!

Thanks a-net, you only kept us waiting for over 16 hours, about 4 to 5 hours after a new game has gone live - after a lot of alpha and beta testing I may presume - to fix a critical bug that got undoubtly tens of thousands of people stuck, after waiting for 6 months for a decent game since Factions was rather bleh, having us all be up at 3... 2am eager to play the game. Pretty special.

Also, the content was all there since all was fine for Elona born characters, so all that had to be fixed was a trigger to make a quest appear. Applause.

Done ranting, bring it a-net fanboys. *takes cover*

I understand your rage, but remember: they are only people.
people make mistakes.
And to presume alpha testing would find the bug, is a long shot: the bug was with Tyrian chars only I believe.
To presume beta testing would find it: the beta open events didn't cover this.

Just to place things in perspective.

Thanks ArenaNet
I think you responded pretty quickly.
I still remember having to wait weeks for a bug in a Oblivion which
prevented me from continueing to be fixed, so yeah, I think they did it
pretty fast.

Tnx a lot for the quick response and the new build. 14 hours as people state above looks like a long time when your playing the game. But developing a game like Nightfall takes about 1 year. I think 14 hours are very fast for finding the excact problem, reprogramming the game, testing the new build and putting the build online..

Angry Stuck as well......

My guildies and I are stuck as well with our Tyrian characters....

We have done the first mission and then Consulate Docks....

The only quests we have been able to receive are the primaries that lead us to the mainland and forward. No side quests. No Istan primaries after Command Training.

We want to complete Istan, but Jokanur Diggings won't start (Digmaster says we are not high enough Sunspear level, but we are all Commanders now). We assume it is because we haven't been able to do any of the primaries.

Can ANYONE help here? Granted we can get deeper in the game....but we would like to actually be able to do missions on Istan and side quests in general.

Goto Churrhir Fields (where the trainers are)

Go far East - and talk to Historian Laharo

he will warp you to Chahbek Village mission outpost,
where you can do 1st mission

We have already done Chahbek and Consulate Docks.....and were wondering why there were no quests.

Then we got to the Diggings....and now we cannot proceed.

Does that make sense?

Thanks for any help you can provide!

not sure what to say...

as a lvl 20 Tyrian (who already did 1st mission and 4rth mission)

I confirmed that I can do both missions for
- Jokanur Diggings
- Blacktide Den

I entered with no one else but me and my heroes

I only had 345 Sunspear points (Rank4 - 1st spear)

on a sidenote,
Elonians cannot get access to Blacktide Den without doing 2nd mission 1st
- Tyrians apparently dont have that restriction

just took my Tyrian ranger over to Jokanur Diggings
- no issues for her either

she can enter the 2nd mission and she doesnt have the 1st mission outpost

she has rank of Sunspear General (5000+ points)

Well I've got a pretty bad problem too.

I HAVE done the quest that the dockmaster gives you, and whenever i talk to him he sends to the inlet. After that quest and a few more, THEN i ran out of primary quests. I havent had any primaries for 2 days and i'm getting extremely impatient.

Assuming you are on Mainland and have done the quest called Hunted

goto Command Post (its next to Sunspear sanctuary)
and talk to Dunkoro

keep visiting the Command Post,
Dunkoro and Koss will keep giving you *new* quests

after you have 2500 Sunspear points - you continue with Primary mission

my Tyrian character didnt grind for Sunspear points
- I found plenty of side quests (most came from the Command Post)

I have the same problem. I have completed ALL the primaries, secondary quests and have run around for hours looking for other ones. I also completed Cemetery and Kodunur. Went back to the docks and he just sends me to Dajkah Inklet. I am a paragon (don't know if that matters) and have achieved General status. If someone knows what I or anet is doing wrong please let me know.

ANother thing I have noticed is my guildies say Pogahn Passage is a mission yet on my world map it shows up as non mission just a regular town. There is no guy in there to speak to for the mission.

Default still bugged

I have the same problem.

I've finished all quests and missions available and yet I can't proceed. I did not recieve a new hero after mysterious messages. I selected "to kill a demon" but I have no direction indicator and no destination star on the map.

I tried talking to dockmaster Ahlaro as per instructions but he just sends me to Dajkah inlet for the cooperative challenge mission. So I repeated the challenge mission, got a green drop and still no love. No new quests missions or heros

I'm pissed off I've been sitting Idle for days now waiting for a resolution.

I hear there are 20 missions in this game and yet I can only access 3.

Heres a tip for A-net support staff: Buy a copy of your game. Level up until you can get to Poghan passage. Listen to all the people who are stumped. Then find the problem and fix it.
