Default Gate of Madness: How much are you willing to pay?

Story: I tested several builds before I came to a perfect build for Shiro. I asked people in Gate of Madness on how much they're willing to pay to get run for the mission. Many people replied 3-5k, while highest is 20k. So I ran this guy through the mission for 20k, and he didn't pay at the end. I was pissed, but I can't do anything about it. Getting to Shiro itself takes half an hour to do so.

So now on the forum, I'm going to ask the same question again. How much are you willing to pay to get a run for this mission?

0gp. This mission is easily done with a PUG as long as you are careful and don't do anything stupid, and have someone who can flee and res occasionaly. I did it first time with a PUG =)

The Crystal Desert ascension missions are easy, too, and yet people pay to be run through them. I would also say the range of 3-5k is probably acceptable, but you might be able to charge more if there aren't many runners.

Do what the runners do half before killing him and half before killing the Lich.

3-5k per person I reckon.

I won't pay anything.

I also won't have anyone run/solo me through a mission.

But, if I would I'd say 3-5k like most of the Ascension missions is fair.

You are kidding right? This mission is EASILY beat with any character and heros and henchies, no PUG required. There is a guide here on Guru that explains it in extensive detail. It must suck to be so bad at playing this game that you have to pay a runner to get you thru missions just so you can actually beat the game.
Sorry for the rant but it had to be said.
As for your question, if it isn't already crystal clear from my rant, I would never pay for a run thru that mission, not even 1gold coin.

True. Need an example of that? The other monk in the team casting resurrect midbattle. While having aggro'ed 3 mobs. Gee gee.
I just don't bother to do the mission with my monk. It's like everybody's... just... bad at the game. I have no idea how some people have reached that area when I see them trying to aggro something, or picking their targets. >.>

I think this answers many questions about the quality of players you can encounter throughout the game.

No need to come in and crap on a thread with useless comments then, eh?

If you have nothing to say on topic, just shrug and move on. If you can't acknowledge the fact that, though you may be unwilling to do so, there are hundreds/thousands of people who want to be run through that and most any mission, then I don't know what game you're playing.

Personally, I find that charging 5k will get you a lot of customers as it's not too much yet still enough to make a lot from a full party on the run. 3k will get even more...so I guess it all depends on how much you want to run. I would say make sure you are making at least 20-30k+ per hour if you want it to be worth it...especially if nobody else is there running it.

Easy is relative to who you are. People pay up to 5-6k for runs through certain ascension missions in the desert (Thirsty, and upto 1-1.5k for Elona), and all of those can be done blindfolded if you know what you are doing. (heck, they pay 500gp per town to just get run TO the missions)

Its a time and effort thing too, if you just want your newbie warrior through the game to beat Abaddon and get Primeval Armor, you are willing to pay for this service.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Anyway, The first week Nightfall was out I saw people offering upto 50k+ to get through the mission. I suppose thats settled to around 10k-15k now, depending on how many of you are trying to get people through the mission. Can drop to 5-6k if the service gets too popular and easy for yall, due to competition, like what happened in the desert.

So you guys are saying 3-6k for a 30 minute run? No thank you, there are people paying me 4k to run the 6 minute Ruin of Morah.

I henched the ascension missions and I henched/heroes gates of madness, so 0gp I guess. But yeah people pay for the ascension all the time. Haven't done ascension with Heroes, but with hench it was about equivalent to Gates of Madness with hero/hench. Although Gates is longer, so maybe adjust price for that?

So I'd agree with above, about the same price but probably inflated a bit for newness.

Good, maybe now all the D and P surplus will be cleared from those missions, and it'll be possible to make balanced groups.

It would all depend.I still haven't beat this one but don't really wanna pay, as I can't learn anything if I sit and do nothing. But I will say this.It does take time and effort to get to Shiro.I can easily hench the rest of this mission without dying once, but I go slow.I kill just about everything there is before I even try Shiro.Thats quite a bit of time and work in itself.I have seen people advertising it two ways, and here is what I would pay max(assuming I wanted to be ran, just what seems fair to me)both ways considered.

You run the whole mission, customer does nothing: 15k Might not be a lot, but if someone was to truly be asked to pay what the time and effort is worth to do it, the price would be high enough no one would pay.

Customer does whole mission, you just kill Shiro: 7k plus any colored drops. It still takes your time, but if all you do is kill one boss, I don't think you can get a lot of people to pay much more.

Just my two cents :-)

??? finished this mission and bonus with henchies and heros with 4 of my toons, Imo this is a very easy mission,
Dunno why ppl are having such a hard time in this mission
All you have to do is spread heroes and henchies, aegis and spoil victor against Shiro.
