Default Vizunah Square Masters advice Needed

Ive managed to get Masters for all the other missions, but i cant seem to get this one with either PUGs or Henchies, Im mainly wanting to get it for my Ranger but its the 1 mission that none of my characters seem to be able to get. Any advice would be welcome?

It's the last mission neede on my monk, and I haven't bothered yet to gather up some chaps to actually give it a try (I'm just THAT lazy )... anyways, if you need a monk, I'm all yours. And if needed, i could just gather up some guidlies or check my friends list, but don't count on that too much :x

Just PM me in-game when I'm on!

The way i've made masters with my ranger was with two MM's in the cooperating parties.
lots of Afflicted to kill, hence lots of corpses hence lots of uberdamgespikekill ftw

36 v alot is better than 16 v alot

MMs is the way to go.. as a ranger Barrage and trapping isnt a bad idea in general for the mission, but for masters, have at least 1 MM in the gorup

tried it various times on my tyrian monk, with henchies, with henchies on one side and a pug on the other, dual pug, 2 MMs, 3 MMs, 1 MM, various other awesome teams - nothing (and no, i didnt fail as monk, basically nobody died in all of those [probably 20+..] runs)

so i went to local quarter..got a local team, foreign (where my monk was supposed to be, and where i started before ;p) was all hench, and we beat it! had like 3 mins spare as well o.o...so...start from local quarter ^^

besides that, there are no real advices, take 6 damage dealers, two good monks that dont need to regen, and thats it ;_; no afkers, or whatever either, and hope that Mhenlo nor Togo will get stuck~

I got masters for everything but Hatchery (I haven't even tried it yet). Yup, no secret to doing this, just protect Mhenlo and Togo and have good damage dealers. 2 healers (not just 2 monks, 1 monk and 1 rit work well). We had a few deaths, 1 afk, 2 brb (not at the same time) and 1 guy from the other team left. Masters wasn't hard, just pound them into dust.

Bring a Minion Master, a Wells Necro and you should be fine.

From my experience, minion masters slow down mhenlo too much. Instead of running to his next waypoint to trigger a cutscene he is busy healing degen'ing bone fiends. If you're going to take an MM ask him to keep away from mhenlo, although from my experience an MM's only concern will be keeping his precious undead as close to full health as possible, and you will be ignored.

I did once try it with myself and a friend both as MMs and the minions seemed to kill anything pretty much as soon as u targetted them. But even then we seemed to be to slow. Is it possible for a Tryian Char to access the Local sector of Vizuah? If so ill try to get my ranger there for when i make my attempt. Any other suggestions of builds? I know barrage would be handy and traps are good but wont they take to long? what about a general high damage build like say, Favourable winds + Ignite Arrows Or Kindle Arrows + Dual shot Or Punishing Shot + Conguer Flame enchant (using a fire bow) or would a vampiric Barrage build be betta?

I run a trapper on this mission most of the time.
It's a combination of knowing where to trap and using the right skills.

I use Oath Shot, Vipers Nest, Flame, Barbed, Dust, Serpents Quickness, Troll and res.
Energy armor and +15e staff. 4BM, 16 Wilderness and 13 expertice.
I start with Dust, fire Serpents and trap Barbed, Flame, Vipers (Dust because I have no evasive skills).

Serpents reduces Oath (and traps) by 33%, so you can trap faster (as long as energy is not running out.

I can shut down one spawn point this way almost singlehanded.
I stick on top of the point, so as soon as the red dots appear I start casting Troll to get rid damage of of those enemies exploding around me.

The only part I have some difficulties with is the last part.
The enemies do attack me there even when others have aggro and I am easily interrupted, so I have to work that one out some more.

When you run barrage i surgest doing it with 2 rangers, FW, Winnowing and Vamp bow strings.
Think that's +15 damage for each hitting arrow. That's +180 damage if each ranger hits with all six arrows.

When running barrage alone, I think the split FW/WW requires too much split between Wilderness and Marksmanship / Expertice.
I but then I try to run 2 expertice lines on full.

There is one thing I still have to figure out and that is R/A.
Sharpen Daggers (Bleeding) is an Enchantment and will work with Barrage.
Have not calculated the extra damage from that one.

Would a Conjure Flame etc. Barrage build do more damage than a vampiric Barrage build? Especially with the new update thats increased the damage the conjure enchants do, hmm although that would mean no hp gain.

I defintetely recommend two MM's. There are enough corpses for them. Plenty of corpses for that matter. The first time I did it I had my MM and we got another in our party. Got Masters no problem.

Now that the ai has monsters running away at times, masters is pretty hit and miss on this one now I think. You can be killing things crazy quick and still have to go chase down some cowardly afflicted that ran off and got stuck. When this happens and you miss masters by a few seconds it's just sad.

Since the implementation of heroes, masters is a LOT easier. I got two swords with my warrior going with 2 MM heroes (neither even had a full 16 att in death), monk hero and hench with the local side being full hench. I got masters on it with the same setup, except a full human local group with time to spare.

I found when I got masters on that mission Edge of Extinction worked pretty well. Whenever I go as Rt/R I usually take EoE just so I can stick it down in the middle to lend a hand with the afflicted while I heal people...also counts as a spirit so Spirit Light etc..works even better.

Was a long time ago, can't remember if we had an MM. Just think "Steamroller"!

Bring an MM, two if possible. Kurenai only squeaked by Vizunah because the human player on the foreign side was an MM, and Hinata IS one and has come the closest to getting Masters there...
