Default 50g armor to 15k armor

I really dont have enough money to spend on 1k armor to get threw the game and I only have enough for 15k end of the game armor. Will I get enought money throught out missions and primary quest to get 1k armor without spending a penny? I guess this goes for all proffesions, but mine character is a worrior.

Depends how thorough you are and how properly you spend your money. That said, the average person will not be able to buy 15k armor after completing the game with one character without some time dedicated to mindless farming.

Go buy the 1k armor, stop worrying about vanity armor. Set your priorities straight. (And yes, you'll make that money back by the end of the game.)

Get collector armor- it has the stats of 1k armor and doesn't cost a penny

I have to wonder why you're getting 15k armor if you're that worried about spending 5k on armor that'll get you through the game, though.

Unless I completely missed a series of collectors, there is no max collector armor in Elona.

My mistake, you're right- there is no max collector armor. Saw someone in Sunspear Sanctuary tonight advising someone to get collector armor, so I assumed there was.

In that case, my advice would be to just bite the bullet and buy 1k armor- it's a drop in the bucket compared to the price for Primeval armor.

In some cases, you are better off going to Cantha and getting 1.5k armour from Keineng Centre.

For example, if you want +energy armour for a warrior, you are better off getting a set of Gladiator's 1.5k armour from KC than getting 1k armour and 5 radiant insignias.

^ Yes, that is true. If you have Factions just buy the armor from Kaineng Center and use that throughout the whole game till you have stocked up on enough gold to get the Primeval armor.

Also, don't spend your gold on things that aren't necessary, let's say that you want a new sword but the one you're using now is perfectly fine with good stats but you want a better looking sword, I wouldn't worry about it, just use what you've got now and after you get your Primeval armor then go out and look for a new sword to buy. Same goes with the shield.

There are many collectors out there that will give you a shield with some good stats, also in Factions there are weapon collectors all over too.

some research can pay off too, you might actully prefer a certain piece of armour that isnt 15k, or isnt really visable etc

plus by endgame you maybe abit bored with that chary and want to make another profession

you will be more use to yourself and your teams if you at least aquire the cheap max armor available.. as for money, it comes pretty easily in Elona by simply playing through

I'm not exactly sure what you mean by that.

When my P and D reached Sunspear Sanctuary, they both had 'max' collectors armor from the starters island and about 15K in gold.
I just sold every drop except the armor collectables from the island (remember, you cannot collect max armor in Elona) to the merchant.
I also worked with 2 characters at the same time, to share their drops (so when I had collectors armor for one character, the rest of the drops would go to the other character).

So it's possible to get the max armor and still have some gold left when you arrive at Sunspear Sanctuary (you can get the armor at the 'Docks' mission if you want to, you probably have the gold by then).
That's the armor, not the runes and insignias.
But those matter somewhat less than max armor.

My Paragon has taken no money from the storage and has Consulate max armor with energy mods (yes i know, not the mod you need on a paragon, but I thought that I would), most of my heros have insignas/runes and I spend roughly 20k on skills.

heh i still got my Kurzick armor form factions, then again I've only had 3 sets of armor, Pre-Ascalon, Drok's and then Kurzick. I'm a necro Funds are limited. So I save and get decent, I can't afford to spend BIG on 15K stuff so I settle with what I can get.

But with a full (hench or not) team, it's divided by 8.

I made a point of keeping track of how much money my warrior made going through NF (I created a NF warrior for this). I ended up getting +-120k.

How did I do this?
1. Salvage all runes and insignias and keep them. I did not buy a single rune or insignia, and by the Sunspear Sanctuary I had full Centurion Armor, with a major vigor rune, sup absorb, and a minor strength. (I eventually bought a sup axe though)
2. Battle Commendations!!!!! I exhchanged mine for runes of holding, and sold them to the merchant. I did every single quest on the island, and had a ton of them at the end (I kept some for the expert salvage kit). I netted almost 12k out of this alone.
3. Dont buy keys untill you get to the desolation.
4. Get max armor as soon as you can.
5. Try to do missions/quests with as little humans/hench/heroes as possible. They share your drops. Vabbi was the first area that I used a full hench team.

Hmmm, cant remember what else I did, will post more tips if I can remember any.
