Everyone saw it coming, but im really dissapointed in HOW Anet nerfed it. They fixed the so-called exploit, but also punished those who farm LB points the hard way. They could have avoided that EASILY, but they decide to screw both parts. GG Anet.

How so? The "hard way" doesn't involve repeatedly killing spawns of Torment creatures.

Well, sorry that I disappoint you, but exploits come and go. That's what makes Guild Wars so much better than most other online games. If I truly supported AFK farming, I would of spread the word ages ago.

I said what I said earlier just because DJ just happens to be a friend, and it was just friendly banter. What does it matter though? It is of no more use. So don't have to be so serious.
Since when does games having exploits make them better? No sure what you mean there.

DJ maybe a friend, but still a exploit is a exploit, A.net should had fixed it sooner.

No command training showed you how to use your heros in combat, not how to split respawning mobs into 3-6 groups and then go AFK while you rank up free lightbringer and EXP without having to done anything.

It was a exploit, not matter what anyone says.

A.net didn't nerf anything, they fixed an abused system of the game. It was a exploit which people were abusing... GG to you.

I have a feeling that Anet was really disappointed HOW players exploited it.

So, finally it's accepted this was an exploit. Incredible, people still wanting to know how to continue exploiting it, and even going so far as to make sketches and diagrams detailing how to cheat.

That kind of stuff could get you banned (read the rules)

I'm ok with them removing the bonus from clones... but why'd they remove the snake guy. now we cant even do legit LB farming in that particular spot.

No, but now the duplicates dont give LB points, which makes it take even longer to get points. They could have easily avoided this bug by making the dplicates NOT CARRY CALL TO THE TORMENT.

And i still dont see this as an exploit..

I was having more fun actually trying to make "the fastest build" rather than getting the points :P

I don't call it an exploit... i call it being creative :P

Ok time to close this thread. It's outdated now, AFK farming is gone now, its time to let it go.

And not matter what people say it was an exploit.

But lightbringer farming lives on, please continue to dicuss fair methods of farming in the new thread below...
