Also, there are no new LB skills other than Lightbringer's Gaze and Lightbringer's Signet. Rank 8 also counts toward KoaBD/PKM.

Just made my LB rank 8 with about 1500-1800 an hr.
started last nite with 34k, and i when i did wake up in the morning, i had 47k. i dont think i slept 13 hours ^_^. This is an estimatated per hour by the way. I was somewhere in the middle forsure.

could make it faster if i tried, would take longer to setup though.

My gf is farming LB points on my build right now.
2 people can easily set 4 groups, and i have a different monk set + a bit addition to Necro skills.

just started using the degen build on necro with bonds. haven't recorded yet what it nets. does anyone know what the best degen amount is? is it -6 or -5?

You could enter Nightfallen Jahai at 49991 or so, set up the farm, and stop right as you hit the number. (remember to start off at odd numbers)

Added: Currently doing Well of Silence + Rotting Flesh instead of poison and suffering on Spears.
it cames out to around 1k/h, 100 points more than before.
Still using scythe with zealous to boost their energy gains.
It does have 1 extra degen on all (-7 instead of -6 from poison and suffering), but it does not seem to be overwhelming them. In fact, the disease spread faster than poison, and equally reduce their health, causing more spears to spawn simultaniously, and thus raising the overall income higher.

I assume farming Scythes with this method will probably net you 1100~1150/h, maybe even 1200/h.
I'll stick to experimenting with Spears tho

Er that's what I did with a non elonian charater brought over from tyria - did no quests (other than ones to get me off island) untill I had maxed out the sunspear points. However there do not seem to be enough points in quests to take you the final level (7500 points worth).

hey guys. i'm now getting 1230/h with 3 groups of spears. the linky below shows how i do it. the hero positioning is easy to recognize. the 3rd group is being farmed by the henchies. they kill only 1 spear at a time and so the most at any given point in time at their end is 2 spears. they contribute 100-200 additional points though so thats fine.

Is anyone still doing LB point farming? I'd like to see how it's done ingame, since even after reading the majority of the thread I still don't seem to have the nack for it. Some pointers and tips on setup/flag positioning would be nice.

Not looking to shoot right up into the higher LB ranks (like 8+), but just enough to be R5 or so.

Well if you're not to worried about ranks, you can easily achieve 400+ an hour by using the basic 2 hero setup, Ive used this while getting used to positioning, refer to Juicy Shakes build on page 13 or 14 for R\N and Mo bonder build. You can use this with either scythes or spears (spears been a little more stable). Then all you need to do is position the Ranger on one side of the rez shrine, the monk bonder on the other, and thats it. You may want to include a 2nd hero monk for a little extra healing, but it isnt really necessary.

Olias and MoW: well of suffering, suffering, enfeebling blood, shadow of fear, parasitic bond (turned off), spiteful spirit {e} (turned off), essence bond, balthazar's spirit

necros: i added spiteful spirit to speed up the dmg to the 1st spear that the necro encounters. when a 2nd spear has spawned it isn't used anymore, hence it is turned off. parasitic bond is just a skill to fill up space. the 2 bonds are to keep the necro at near full energy all the time.

monk: this is pretty obvious i guess..you bond the necros. the tricky part is positioning him between and far enough away from the 2 necros so they don't get aggro (flagged as avoid combat) while still in range of healing if needed.

as for the henchies..just make sure they're flagged right in front of the spear they are attacking so that they don't have to run back a long distance after the spear calls another spear (henchies will run back to their flag when they aren't being attacked; e.g. when the spear is using call to torment).

Hey guys, thanks to everyone for the useful info especially who posted the 2 R/N + bonder detailed instructions (Juicy?). I was setting up the farm quickly like crazy, cause I was afraid like hell that it get nerfed

, but it didn't so I got the 8th maxed title, and elonian grandmaster cartographer is coming soon

Now I need to look at a hard maxable title as 10th one (prob I will start chestrun seriously

Nice. I like Ennea's setup with the N/Mos instead of the N/Rs. I might try that next with a combination of Aohige's idea using Well of Silence + Rotting Flesh (another cool idea). So far, I can only get one group going though. Setting up the first group is cake, but everytime I try to set up the 2nd and 3rd groups, the whole plan crashes. Practice makes perfect I guess.

can you provide some tips how to get 2 seperate groups of spears? i can only manage one big group of 7 spears at a time on one N/r the other N/r can't get a group of its own.
this is what i do...i fight all torment with henches..leave spear alive, when he casts call of torment...i leave the agro with henches, bond my first necro hero and get it in agro with the spears...while bonder heals.
but it has to go so quick the other necro doesn't have the chance to agro the another spear.
can someone please help? ty
