You're playing the wrong game. In GW everything is situational. There is NO such thing as best mod, item, armor, etc... If you're fortunate enough to have a collection of weapons for every occasion you'll know exactly what I mean.

Allow me to repeat...
"There is NO such thing as best in GW" Period.

Nope, if you try salvaging one it will say 'you are salvaging a Fiery Dragon Sword...' whereas if you try to salvage a Fiery Fellblade, it will say 'you are salvaging a Fellblade...'

I prefer the elegance of platinum blades. That and its the best match for a gloom shield.

According to Wiki, elemental swords drop from a few chests in the Realm of Torment and in the Desolation.

That means they can drop from any chest in either place, but the chance is just really low, so some people who don't understand how it works might think it's only from specific chests in specific places.

You'll never believe this but I looted one from a Margonite chest in Nightfallen Jahai....it was a req 12 or 13....I had no idea about the rarity, but didn't salvage it because the skin was so nice. Wound up selling it for 14K i think because the req was so high....woops.

Margonite chests are the chests found in torment, so its not hard to believe

and that blade was worth 100k easy, even at req 12+

It sucks about as much as furious. And that's a hell of a lot of suckage.

All the elemental mods have a point. So does vamp. So does zealous. So do the condition mods (ok, I really can't see when I'd use heavy).

Furious and sundering are both absolutely pointless. If you want damage go vamp. If you're not using them for damage what's the point.

Sundering is ideal for spiking/focus attack, mainly used in GvG.
Vampiric is better as a pressure, and since spike is usually not necessary in PvE, is a better choice over all.

I'm assuming he probably don't have much GvG experience, to make a statement like that.
