Default Novice Lightbringer point Farming

I know many people may have a problem with the way I farm light bringer points. Yes I did the Domain of Secrets, and honestly I found the variance of points from one hour to another to much of a pain to justify it. What pain? Moving from location to location, fight to fight, having to find each and every light bringer bounty. Un-maximized farming due to killing opponents without having the bounty active. "That’s in any zone you go in!" you might say. Not so. In the domain of secrets I found that clearing can take anywhere from one hour to two hours and yield 400-700 points a run. This is just not acceptable given the possibility of bad luck and characters catching DP.

My solution is for the novice farm and if you're good at killing Margonites it will yield you 400-600 points a hour. It's easy and almost mindless. Here’s how...

Start at the Bone Palace and exit into Joko's Domain. Run out, take a left and the get in the worms. By the way make sure you get in the worms on the side were the door outside of the keep is. For some reason the heroes and henchies have a tendency to spread out once inside the worms and sometimes hit hard rock, which make them exit. Once in the worms proceed to kill everything from the entrance north to the Shattered Ravines zone. It's not far and there’s usually only 5 groups between you and the door. Kill the first 3 groups. Once at the last two use your worms Tunnel to move 66% faster through the groups to the Shattered Ravines zone. Get out of the worm as fast as possible and zone.

Now the farming begins. As soon as you have zoned you will notice that VERY close is a group of 4-6 Margonites and sometimes a selection of demons. Turn right. There’s a Ghostly scout. Talk to him and get the Margonites 2 point bounty. Hit 'C' spacebar and proceed to kill the Margonites in this order. Cleric, Sorcerer, Seer, Ascended, and Reapers. Once they are dead rezone. That's right rezone into Joko's Domain. Now hit 'Z' then 'R' and rezone back into the Shattered Ravines. Turn right, get bounty, kill, rezone. Wash, Rinse, repeat. Oh while I'm thinking about it, when you go to kill the group, don't bother with the Shadow of Fear, Arm of Insanity, or Blade of Corruption as this will just waste time and energy and you DONOT get any points for them. It should only take a max of 30 seconds to kill a group of 6 Margonites, at least it does me. And the only time it will take more is if there are 3 clerics in the group. Then it takes 60 seconds. Point being is you rack up about 10 points a zone on the average. You should only do this method if you have a high-speed connection as zoning time will not make this way effective.

What team build do I take? I take 3 tanks me and 2 heroes, 1 paragon hero, paragon henchie, 2 monks henchies and a dervish henchie. I call it a hit squad. I've tried several different builds, but the most effective, is straight class builds. Don't bother giving your tanks any healing abilities. Just straight hack and slash.

The funny thing? I began NF with a paragon and farmed the Procession to 5k points. Then I switched back to my main character. When I got to the procession, I noticed AN had fixed / changed / enhanced / altered the light bringer glitch. All I could do was laugh at how I basically screwed myself out of 5k in points since I hardly play my paragon anymore.

Comments are welcome. Please try to remember that this is for novice farmers or very bored experienced ones. It's just posted here to help. I still think it's a honest way to farm points as you do have to earn them. Hopefully AN will not fix / change / enhance / alter my own farm habits.

TIPS: Bring light bringer gaze and if a warrior, distracting blow. This will help interupt the clerics when they go to cast Aegis. If the get Aegis off the fight could last a extra 15 seconds. Remember not to focus on any non-margonite. This includes undead and demons like Shadow of Fear, Arm of Insanity, or Blade of Corruption. If you find yourself poisoned and about to die (and you will at times), or your party is close to death run for the Shattered Ravines zone. Lastly make sure your inventory is clean and bring Ancient Elonian Keys. After the battle is done do a quick 360. Sometimes (very rarely) chest spawn on the otherside of the hill.
