Yes, but you guys got an axe, for which one of you may very well have a warrior that could use it. I specifically want a shield for one reason and one reason only: my monk. It matches her armor and will replace the Lotus Shield she currently carries.

@Drop:
Which minipet, and what kind of axe? Those are the only potentially worthwhile rewards. Getting titan gemstones back isn't a significant gain - you basically traded a margonite+stygian+torment for a titan gem. The scroll is just a slap to the face.

The point is, little Maya wants a specific torment shield, out of all of the hundreds (thousands?) of possible drops from a coffer. It simply isn't cost/time-effective to play odds when there's only one item you actually want.

I'm interested in the torment shields also, but I want to see actual screenshots of them worn by monks before I invest any significant effort into getting one. Given how some of the other Nightfall shield skins look, and given how some of those skins, uh, 'interact' with the monk's arm, it may end up being a waste of effort.

for me if thats shield is not animated then it is a waste of time... NF skins are even worst than faction, such as the War sunspear armors it is no different from a kurzick armor with out the Scale part...

shield model clipping are just so bad on Primeval Armor for war, i hate ppl got paid and not doing their job.

also if you did pay attation to the torment sword LOGO it looks no different from a Brute Sword in black dye... so i hate the idea of making hard to get things look like rubbish, coz after all it would be a waste of time.

The shield is animated. I have appropriate confirmation from a reliable source.

Yes, little Maya wants one specific item, and I realize I'm behaving quite badly over it. (Especially considering my IRL age. )

What mini/axe did you get? Those are the 2 burning questions.

He didn't say he got a *Torment* Axe. He said he got an axe.

As above. Do spill the beans. Or stop posting stuff like this till you decide to spill the beans.

I haven't seen any confirmed Torment weapons, but there's a thread with multiple pics of the new minipet:

I know about the pics of the mini pet. Drop just didn't say what mini pet it was. Tho I imagine it was the Mallyx one, it'd be stupid to get a Bone Dragon or something from the coffer. I'm too tired.. again -.-"

I'd love to see a full-size shot of the axe as well.

Unfortunately, I only have "verbal" confirmation that the tormented shield has an animation "glimmer" to it, similar to the way Margonites shimmer.

The Mallyx minipet looks pretty unimpressive to me, though it might sell for a fortune. Would love to see a pic of the tormented axe as well

They do? Picture please. Don't have one? They don't until proven otherwise. Simple, really.

That's what I'm saying. People talking about owning it means nothing to anyone here without visual proof.

We know they technically exist. What we're saying is that people here are talking abou owning them, but have no pictures. What I'm wondering is, does anyone that's playing the game have one of these weapons yet? It's an incredible amount of work to earn 100 gems. And if you wanted to buy them, it would cost around 10 mil. And that wouldnt work anyway since there are none for sale.

You don't see pictures of them being wielded. You see icons. And you can't tell jack about what they look like from an icon.
