Beat Abaddon's Gate With Team of All Henchies
Yeah since most ppl are nubs and i was sorta bored, i decided to try to beat abaddon with a team of all henchies on my assasin.
As u can see, abaddon's hp is very low and my entire team is at 10% morale wit nearly full energy so it wasnt even a close match.

Not that hard, imo, its actually easier w/ henchies + heroes than with a pug. I beat it with my mesmer. Wastrels worry allowed me to beat him in about 2-3 times of him being vulnerable.

I beat him with all henchies/heros with my dervish. The key was I had 2 hero monks (and at least 1 healer henchmen, maybe 2) and only gave them the skills heal party and light of deliverence. Got masters on the mission.

Yea, I already beat this with heroes/henchies shortly after launch. It's not hard. Bots heal faster than most human players in PvE given the right group build.

Same here, completed Master first time round with PUGS, but forgot to claim my endgame weapon, so had to play the mission again. Couldn't find a competent PUG group to complete this mission second time round, so decided to go full heroes/henchies and done it.

He meant that the OP had to use 4 monks and 2 paragons in order to accomplish his task, which takes away from the accomplishment.

killed him in 2 rounds, about 8 minutes, with 1 hero monk, 2 hench monks, 1 ele hero, 1 mesmer hero, and both ele henchmen. first try.

It took me about 30 minutes or so with henchies, cause I did it the long way and well I was slightly delusional and couldn't see all that good, cause of lack of sleep.

I LOVE the irony of "most people are nubs" then making what is essentially a nub boast. With the two chars of mine that have finished Nightfall, both times Mastered Abbadon's Gate with Heroes/Hench. I'm not bragging, I'm just saying that if _I_ can do it....

Abaddon's Gate is one of the easiest missions... the first one doesn't count of course....

Sad to say, but your hero healers are incredibly poorly set up for the mission.
If you have Factions (I see Life Sheath), the ideal setup is LoD/Extinguish on one, and LoD/Entinguish/dwayna's kiss on the other. Hexes aren't that bad, but throw a hex removal or two in there. You might want to add an extra heal on the second monk, but it's not really needed, as long as you keep an eye out on the claws.
Keeping hero monk skillbars almost empty makes them use LoD more often, and keeps their energy pool high enough for extinguish. Inspired/Revealed aren't too good, since they'll try to cast the stolen hexes.
Ward of stability also works on a character or two, might even be monks, or balanced stance to deal with the knockdowns.
But from monking perspective, this mission is the easiest of all, just spam LoD/extinguish as needed. The rest of damage is negligible.

I didn't even bother bringing a Monk on this mission when I did it with henchies, hence I have absolutely no idea why you needed four.

Defeating Abaddon is as easy as killing Glint or THK with heroes. Heroes are the most powerfull tool as long as you know how to use them properly.

umm gratz? what's the big deal? The entire Nightfall game is achievable with masters on all missions with heroes. I don't think I teamed up at all for any missions since I trust henchies and heroes more than I do a PUG
