Default No way to elite missions

i hate this whole system put in place by factions where you can only get into the elite area if you holding the city or if someone from the guild holding the city takes you. It was hard enough to get a farry before nightfall came out but now eveyones playin that and no ones around to take anyone to urgoz. Dont kno about other one cause dont go there but im guessing it prolly sucks tryin to get a ferry there too. Maybe they guilds who hold the city could like post times when they'd ferry or what not. dont know if this would work cause i dont know the whole process in taking the city and what requirements are necessary to hold it but i do know it sucks trying to get in.

THe Alliance with the most Kurzic faction holds HzH, and the most Luxon faction holds Cavalon.

The way to hold the cities is by EVERYONE in your allliance donating faction. All 9 members must donate a BUNCH of faction EVERY DAY to hold a city. Last I saw, it took over 2 million faction to hold the lowest city and several million faction for HzH... the real problem with faction is that it gets reduced by 10% a day; not only do you have to donate to build, but to maintain. I was donating 5k a day just to maintain my guilds 50k of faction in our alliance and we never got anywhere near holding a city.

And that's if the map hasn't been redrawn so that Ks own Cav or Ls hold HzH...

I am from the DMV and FFarming is really a pain in teh butt. Its ver repetative and gets boring after a while. We left because of this and the fact that theres a purpose in playing the game....to have fun. FF isnt really "fun". The only thing that came out of it other than boosting your guilds faction were the titles ( mine lvl 2) and some golds from chests. Anyway keep trying to get a ferry to Urgoz and once you do, take another guildie there from teh guild hall and then rinse and repeat so you always have your very own "ferry" from the guild hall.

Ah ha! I feel your pain people. But to be honest the alliance in charge of House Zu Heltzer have been there for too long. Their time is a coming!

Besides... There shouldnt be a ''price'' on ferrying. Serioulsy it takes NO effort. It's only a responibility given to the alliance to take people over there.

FFFing died a little when NF came out, but it's beginning to pick up

Wrong.

The main cities and Mission areas cannot be capture even when the battle line moves all the way to the left or right hand sides.

Therefore Cavalon will always be Luxon and HzH will always be Kurzick.

My bad; I don't pay attention much except that I've been in HzH for instance, and heard the announcement that "House zu Heltzer is now back under Kurzick control." Does that just mean that the battle lines have retreated again, even if control itself doesn't change?

(BTW even when justified it always gives me such a warm feeling when people begin their posts with "Wrong.")

That message just means that the lines have been updated (retreat or advance, doesn't matter).

A lot of people who don't have short memories are still waiting on the "Alternative Access" methods we were told were coming.

A.net should just put the NPC's they had in Kaineng Center back and be done with it. If an Alliance wants the "prestige" of owning House zu Heltzer, let them keep going for it.

I agree its a pain to get into elite missions. I dont think elite missions should be only accessible to the holder of the best alliance... i know it takes a lot of work to get up that high but I mean at least they should get something ELSE!

Free pizza?

the good news is with the consistent degen of faction those alliances will not hold cities forever if they are not playing in Factions. so eventually it will open up if no one is maintaining their faction upkeep.

Give it a month or so and even the most week Alliances will likly be able to take a city, and possibly the capitals themselves. And the ferries will start up again.

I always though the Elite nps should be in the divine path for access to staging areas if people wanted too. but NOOO you guys shot that down like it was the plauge... Maybe now people will reconsider having elite mission access available at endgame if people want to go that way as opposed to PVP only path.

I was going to post this. Gaile has personally stated that they were looking at alternative access to the Factions elites and that they would then be implemented.

I will stop just short of calling this a 'lie', and stop at 'laziness'

Another idea for an alternative access method to the elite missions could be if it were also linked to a player's faction standing. Access to the elite missions could be granted if one has achieved a certain level such as Ally or Steward for example. This would be a nice reward for the enormous amount of faction that they have donated and would also be in keeping with the elite nature of the mission,.
