Question Nightfall Guild Kurzicks or Luxon alliance, how

Ok I did a search and did not find anything.
I see people asking this question a lot.

How does a Nightfall Guild become a Luxon or nasty Kurzicks, LOL.
If the people in the nightfall guild do not have faction can they become Kurzicks or Luxon alliance?

thanks
Shotgun

I would assume that if the Guild Leader has factions they can sign the guild up. If not they wont be able to get to the faction capitals and join.

So the people that just own nightfall can not have alliances with guilds that started in Factions?

That does not seem right to me. Looks like that is going to hurt guilds like mine that are older then nightfall.

You can't use Punishing Shot unless you own Prophecies, and you can't use the hero system unless you own nightfall. It's nothing new that you have to purchase specific chapters to get that chapters content.

You are talking about skills; I am talking about hurting older guilds like mine. We no longer farm Faction points because we all play nightfall. And I have been told a lot of Faction guilds are braking up. My guild is almost 3 years old and I do not want to see it break up. Because we do not farm Faction points it is had to find alliance now. What good is owning a city in Faction when all you play is nightfall? By not allowing nightfall guild to form alliance with nightfall guilds it ONLY hurts the older guild not the new guild. This is the point I am trying to get across.

I do not really understand your statement, shotgun. OP only means that if none of his guild members has Factions, then they can't go to HzH or Cavalon to choose Allegiance, thus join an Alliance.
Why does farming Faction points concern here ? Only few alliance require farming faction to recruit guilds now, and owning a city is pretty meaningless.

It basically just reverts back to the way it was prior to Factions. There's not a whole lot (there is some) of reason to have an alliance if you aren't farming faction (via runs, ab, etc) in order to own a town. Other than that it really just becomes a larger chat channel and not much more. It doesn't put your guild at any kind of disadvantage since the ladder revolves around guilds and not alliances. You aren't really missing anything by not being in an alliance if you don't play factions. You can't even see who is online in the allied guilds.

That is not so, we have been kicked out of 2 alliances already. Since nightfall started because we do not farm faction now. Also I have not been unable to find an alliance because we do not have 50,000 faction points or more. All the alliance leaders I have talked to require daily faction point donations to the alliance of 10 - 15 K a day and at least 50,000 faction points to start.

We can not make alliances with nightfall guilds and the factions guilds will not take us tell we start farming faction points! You are right owning a city is pretty meaningless for nightfall players. The problem is I can not find any of these guilds you are talking about that do not require faction points. Like I said my guild is almost 3years old I do not want to see it broke up. I am having people leave the guild almost daily, because of the alliances problem.

Stop putting such a heavy emphasis on LF Kurzick alliance when you're out looking for an alliance? If everyone in your guild plays NF, it doesn't matter which side you join...it seems to me your guild wants to be in an alliance just for the sake of being in an alliance?

As stated before, alliances are simply bigger chat channels (and easier guesting if your guild is into GvGs), if people are leaving your guild 'cause they're missing out on those channels, I don't know what to tell ya.

I really don't understand what the problem is, people are leaving your guild because you're not in an alliance?

If you just want a casual alliance, you can pm me. I just turned over a guild I formed to a long-standing officer and he runs it as a casual alliance now (Luxon, but it doesn't really matter). If you're not farming faction, then it's basically a casual chat channel. If you expect to own a city without having to farm faction then the other guilds in the alliances will see you as leechers and not let you stay in. PM me and I'll put you in contact with the guild leader of the alliance. It's Luxon, but he'll have no problem letting you in. Don't expect to own a city though. It's just basically a big super-guild.
