Default Finished unwaking waters (finally)

Myself and a guildy, with heroes/henchman beat it in 8.3 minutes. Is that a good time? (it was good enough for master anyway lol).

We have tried for a long time and tonight must have been our night

(ok now I know some will say it's so easy you can do it naked with no weapons in 5 seconds lol)

Anyway woot!

Unwaking Waters is by no means any easy mission, its been a notorious game-stopper for many Factions players. Congrats on beating it

Thank you! We tried it many, many times, and have been in pugs that were not very happy when they lost over and over (to put it mildly). I love having heroes, I have done the ring of fire islands (all missions and bonuses) with heroes/henchies bymyself as well. So glad they added them! LOL I have spent a ton on runes and insignias setting them up (lots of trial and error) but it was well worth it IMHO.

I think it is a fairy easy mission. I soloed it with henchies and heroes with masters and it wasn't that hard. The only hardest thing is keep interrupting kuvvang. The saddest thing is that nobody seems to be playing factions anymore and it is hard to get groups in most missions in factions.

Did it with my NF Necro + 3 heroes (Mes, SF Ele and BH Arrow Margrid), plus a Rit and 3 henchies (Luxon side all hench) in 7:24 last night :-)

That's odd, I Mastered it my first try with random pubbies, don't remember it being difficult at all. Perhaps I got lucky.

I think UW is more easily done with hench than players, unless you get into a really good player group. When Kuunavang does her corrupt dragon scales and you pull away hench follow, dumb players stay there and die.
I got masters reward doing this mission on my assassin and warrior with hench. Well, nobody wanted to take my assassin anyway :P

same here, Assassin is unwelcomed, My A/Mo is lucky enough to pass the UW, RP,with PUG even not master, but I go back and get master with henchmen. it wasn't that hard. for me, the hardest is Eternal Groove because when I was doing the mission, there wasn't the hero system and I cannot set position for henchmen. therefore I have to rely on PUG and rarely anyone want to repeat that mission

8-9 min is a good time.. and congratz.. but if you beat it you almost everytime get master.. anyway cant understand why people have problems with that mission.. now with heroes you can make them interupters, otherwise take a int ranger skill yourself and besure to interupt corupted scales.. if you interupt that spell everytime you will beat the mission very easy..

Mission is extremely easy, did it on an Assassin with nothing but heroes and hench on my team, and the Luxon side was also hench. Also got masters on it.

I just did it... 10:08, but I took my time to fall back from the mobs so that Kuunavang couldn't annoy us alot.

My assassin, 12 henchmen, and 3 heroes.
My heroes?
Tahlkora set as boonprot (yes, i'm too lazy to figure out a new build for her)
Olias set as minion master

But most important... Acolyte Jin, with Magebane Shot, Savage Shot, and Distracting Shot. Kuunavang could only summon the degen spores once, and the energy denial spores twice (due to being held busy by a mob)

And indeed, just like pve-er, I had more problems with Eternal Grove (ended up doing it with a pug, who had only one 'healer'.. a resto rit that also spammed a few spirits)

Anyways, onwards, to the Imperial Sanctum!

I hero/henched it on my monk and i got it in 9 minutes. I managed to lower Kuunavang's health before I had to fight the mob with the rit boss in it @_@ the only really hard part i had was the corrupted dragon scales since i didn't really have an interrupter in my party cept for the henchmen from the luxon side.

my heros were Zhed with SF, Olias with MM, and I think I had either Dunk or Tahl helping me with healing and protecting >-o

I hate the two party missions.

First time I had all henchies, made it to where you can melee her and she cast corrupted dragon scales before I could even target her. For some reason there was also a large group of afflicted spawned during the cut scene (or right before the cut scene). Party wipe before I could even set a flag.

I then tried, I do not know, 5-8 times getting people on the other side. Both groups were all melee each time, neither would run if afflicted spawned (one finally would after I pinged the mini map like mad, but only after that), and one chased Kuunavang wherever she went on top of that (not sure what he/she thought they were doing with *no* ranged attackers).

I logged back on a few hours later, full hench team, finished in a little over 9 minutes while taking my time.

It reminds me of why I *hate* pugs and grouping with people in general and is why I will have one, and only one, character finish Factions. It is nothing but frustration to go through that. Even if I can get in a decent group the other side tends to screw it up more often than not. Ah well, Nightfall and prophecies are MORE than enough, though I wouldn't mind a few of the endgame Factions greens.

I got in the only PuG that was available during the time I tried it(Kurzick side) and we beat it in less than 7 minutes...
yeah it's a PuG not henchies/heroes but still...

Maybe it would be good to have a section dedicated to mission times. I have many fast completion times in cantha
