Default Getting Served At Heart or Mind: Garden in Danger/Needed Advice

I Currently chose to do the Heart or Mind: Garden in Danger quest in replace of going to Ronjok. At the beginning of the quest, The first hall I found okay, and was able to kill the margonites (or whatever their called ) and used the light object to kills thoes that were impossible to kill with skills. I managed to go up the stairs but thats where I found things difficult. There were plenty of enemies from both sides (East And West) Trying to keep to one side with my henchmen was difficult also trying to keep the onslaught running demons from attacking the priest that remains far away at the beginning of the map. Is their any advice anyone can give me to help me through this mission. Thanks

Edit- Im talking about the battle Jennur's Horde which revolves around the garden

Try going with a PUG, Guildies, or Alliance members. Made is easy for me after I failed 3 times with heros/henchies.

this is a hard mission, doing it with a second guildie/person could make it easier, but its doable solo.

key tips here:

learn the spawning time of the moving mob, they spawn at set intervals of (i believe 3) spawn time spawn time spawn longer time.

where time is a breath you can take to either move forward (if you are still at the corridor) or to go to the sides to kill the stationary mob.

once you reach the big room where there are 2 harbingers, look at the spawn interval, wait a 5 or 10 minute period and try to take their spawning time at heart,, once you do, eliminate both sides mobs (including the stationary margonites)once that little area is clear, look at wich point before the small rift that blocks your path they split, once you know at wich point they split, wait for the long time pause and run towards that point, flag your group there, and eliminate 3 spawns, just to make sure they are not going to slip away.

while you do all of that, you should have brought the lights from the begining, keep 3 lights as the harbinger of nightfall takes 3 to die.

at the pause, pull the monsters from one side of harbinger kill them and then wait for the spawn. at a pause you choose, lure nigthfall to your group, as close as you can to the 3 lights you have brough, pick them up and drop them next to him, if a spawn appears ignore it, once he dies its all over.

trial and erro is the best way to perfectionate the strategy.

The mission is actually much simpler than it seems. Every two minutes a group of Margonites will spawn and rush towards your priest, each Harbringer you kill increases the number of Margonites that come.
I ignore the first two Harbringers and kill the Margonites on the staircase. Kill the third Harbringer and set up camp near the area. Proceed to clear out the Margonites on both sides of the crevice, keeping an eye on the Margonites that rush towards the priest. When this happens just flag your heroes back in the middle to meet with the Margonites.
When the Margonites are cleared, move to the next area across the garden. Choose a side and clear it of enemies, you may even want to kill the Harbringer that resides there as you will be setting up operations there. From now on carefully take out the Margonite groups that surround your base keeping an eye out on the running Margonites, make sure to intercept them.
The mission ends when you kill the Harbringer of Nightfall who is at the end of the garden. So what you need to do is flag your heroes at your camp and run a light to the Harbringer and drop it on him. After that, just run back to your camp until another Light spawns. When you drop three lights on him he'll die and you'll complete the mission.

Basically you set up camp at an area near the middle, carefully take out surrounding Margonite groups and make sure you intercept the Margonite runners. Move your camp up gradually until you cross onto the other side of the Garden. Once you have your base, just run lights to the boss, there should be a clear path so long as you watch out for the Margonite runners.

Hope that helps.

Also, if you want, you can still go pick up the ronjok quest and go that route if you'd like.

I did it with henchmen get master on third attempts. I will tell you what I did but not teh master parts because it is a pain to write unless you request

other than Koss, bring one MM and one SF nuker with MS. bring 2 healer henchmen, paragon henchman and Earth henchman.

for the first 3 Hardbringers, everyone one you kill, you station your hench there to protect that spirit. personally, you go back to the priest and previous spirit to get new essence to your team (remember to separate the essence of current spirit and those from previous spirit+ priest so you only use the essence of the spirit your team is guarding to kill next Hardbringer.

now you are guarding the spirit just on top of the stair way, wait for the enxt mobile group of morgonites to come to you. kill them and pick a group of stationary Morgonite from either side. kill them ASAP and return to guard the spirit for the next mobile group to come.
do the same to clear that part of the hall.

Now bring the essences forward (you only, let your team guard the spirit, always separate the essence of the closest spirit from other essence) to near the gap between you and 4 group of Morgonite. as well as 2 Hardbringer on each side.

now station your team forward slightly behind you. wait for the mobile Morgonite groupto pop up , run your team to kill it. immediately back to center, use a low bow to pull ONE stationary group behind the gap to your place, kill them fast. kill the next mobile group , repeat on the other group behind the gap.

now bring the essence of the clostest spirit with you, kill the hardbringer and morgonite group near him (2 groups i think) now move to the center and wait for the morgonite to pop up, kill them and the group on the other side.

now you almost clear the area, station your team at the center slightly closer to hard bringer so that the pop up group will attack your team instead of run left or right. be vary careful, take dawn the mobile grp and gather 4 essence closer as possible to the Nightfall Hard bringer, kill hte next mobile group and pull NF hardbringer out if he is alone,

let your team handle the aggro (tell the team to kill healer first), , all you do is don't die and release essence on NF Hardbringer . I use 4 to kill him, some say 3.

once he die, you win

What you can also do is get a few rangers or warriors and maybe a monk with some enchants and run the mission. I tried the mission like 5 times and got really frustrated, then I thought it should be possible to just run to the nightfall thingy at the end and kill it. After trying 2 times, my team and I succeeded. I believe we hit him with 3 of those light things and he was dead. It was actually a very fun thing to do. What you need are atleast 4 runners. let 3 of them get a light and let the other take the lead. Just run for your life and drop your thing at the last harbringer. It really isn't that hard, if the bait does his job well and makes sure the path is a bit cleared you should have finished the mission in no time. It's very fun

Personally after about 6 failed attempts at this mission I gave up and did the other one with Melonni, much much much easier. You just have to stand there and pull them in or let them come to you.

Yep, I did Jennur's Horde on my Ele who went through the first time. Never ever again. I have taken Ronjok in Danger for my next 6 characters and will do for all the others. Getting Masters on that mission for Protector was just horrible.

One of the hardest mission in the game, since it requires a pretty precise pattern and you got to really do it with at least 2 real ppl. It's pretty simple once you get it down, but can take quite a few tries to get to that point. You can do it solo but it take 2 or 3 lights to kill the harbinger of nightfall, which usually the hench are dead by the time you bring the second one.

It is hard, but not impossible. in fact I think it is easier to do with Hero because people don't have the patient to wait for right moment, especially to get Master it take forever to clear the 2 additional Hardbringer.

I hope my post up there can give an idea of what to do with the mission.
