Default XP Farming

Where is the best place to farm XP? I stupidly used a lot of skill points to unlock skills that I wanted to use on hero's (i already know this was dumb so please don't remind me) Now I have about 240 - 250 skills capped and no more skill points to get the rest for skill hunter title. I have been using a scroll and going southwest out of Chantry to kill the 5 bosses that are closeby there and geting good xp but is still very slow. I have prot titles on all missions in all games so going back to get the xp for bonus/masters will not work, thanks for feedback in advance

lol...I am playing a warrior, no chance in DoA. That is another topic but why make a area where only this class or that stands a chance? I can live with it being so hard it is ridiculous because it is an elite area but I just don't see how a tank will ever be able to do that area. I should have stated my profession in first post but now that you know I am a w/? any other ideas?

Never heard of someone running out of Skill points. It was always the money to buy the cap sig that everyone complained about.

But look at it like this. While you are farming XP to get skill points you can also get the i lived forever title without getting killed.

I already got killed a lot so survivor title is gone, I have 3 milion plus exp on the character, I just used a bunch to unlock skills for hero's and to get all warrior skills in the game... and spent over 251 of them on cap sigs too..have all core, all factions, all but 6 nightfall and 32 in Tyria

You can farm the UW with a W/Rt. You get alot of xp points there. But its starts to get boring too.

EDIT: well L|S post the idea before me. ^^'

just looked at uw solo on forum...I actually made one very similar myself and then scrapped it (wasn't for uw just trying to make a general solo build) I wil try that but cannot do it much since we never have favor. I did get to go to FoW 2 times this weekend though, hope the change to ha that made that possible for me stays so I can keep going back.

heh money's not the problem for me. it was always running out of skill points. I still got 442 more skill points to go before I have all the skills on my ele.

If you have Prophecies, the Drok troll farming is the fastest xp I've found. With a 300% xp scroll, you'll get around 6k-7.5 per run. With an ele, it takes 2 minutes a run. Not sure how fast it is with a warrior.

yes you can do all the missions in all the games no matter where you are "born" but I recomend anyone to start at the beginning (tyria) with all characters that you can make there because after starting in factions or nightfall Tyria seems too long and drawn out and boring. Most of my guildies like Tyria the best but everyone I know that started somewhere else hate tyria due to having so many mobs of easy to kill but annoying monsters

2 things you can do, bring the char to other continents if you havnt lready done so and go for masters on all missions, more skill points there.

What Ive been doing now is ff farming for kurzick. i never checked how many runs it takes to get another skill point but its pretty fast. you can also trade in the faction you would get to your guld or for amber.

This is the method I use: solo farm Crystal Outlook by using a worm.

Procedure:
1. Start at Dunes of Despair or Ruins of Morah without a party
2. Run to crystal outlook, there's an unguarded worm spoor at the southwest of the map
3. Turn yourself into a worm by activating the spoor, and change your weapon to a scythe
4. If you have lots of money then use experience scrolls - preferably the 250%/5minute/killBossToRenew scrolls
5. Kill mangadors, bugs, giants
6. The assassin mandagor boss and the monk giant boss can be killed solo by a worm. Kill them to renew your experience scrolls if you used them

I did something similar when leveling my heroes, except i did it in the Alkali Pan west of the Bone Palace. Get yourself + heroes + an xp scroll or two and enter the worms just after the exit from bone palace. There's a bounty for elementals just opposite which helps too.

There are several very large groups of Awakened as well as several groups of Margonites, Elementals, Monoliths and Mandragor all of which should be easy prey. There's also a few Desert Worms in the area which are quite hard to take out (especially when there's 2!) but DP isn't a problem when in a worm and the rezzes happen very fast. Usually in one run i could take a hero (in a group of 4) from lvl18 to 20 so you should be able to gain at least one skill point per run (15 mins ish).

Also, a hero's level doesn't matter when in a worm. Everyone will have 3000hp and full armour so feel free to take that lvl 11 hero along and lvl him up in the process.

It is very easy to run out of skill points ............. I do it all the time. There are 1,136 skills in the game including the 291 elite skills. I am nearing the end of collecting every skill on one character (currently at 1,054 skills).

The best way in my opinion to gain the XP neccessary to get the skill points is to join a group or better still a Guild team and go into the Fissure of Woe. If you did all 11 quests that are in FoW, you would get at least 100,000 xp without monster kills, so that should get you at least 11 skill points. An 'average' Forge trip should net you around 4 to 5 skill points. As far as I can see, there is no faster way of getting skill points.
