Default Organzing Jade Quarry for Sunday Feb. 25, 2007

Folks,

I'm organizing an exploration Sunday Feb. 25, 2007.

Meet at Jade Quarry (Kurzick) International District.

Time: 10:30pm (EST) or 5:30pm (GMT).

My In-game-name: Sleek Ruba.

No need for you to respond to this thread just show up in the international district. The actual exploration will begin at 11:00pm (EST) or 6:00pm (GMT). This gives us 30 minutes to gripe about the Jade Quarry and allow those running late to show up. Hopefully enough people will show up so we can all work on the grand master title.

Aaah, I missed it. I got in just now, but didn't get to explore the whole thing... Oh well, guess I'll try again later today or next weekend (doubt I'll get in during work days).

Apparently, the exploration didn't happen because not enough people showed up.

For staff working at Guild Wars, you folks need to do an update to correct the problem with Jade quarry to allow people to enter the mission. Not enough people play the Jade quarry mission, so for those working on the Cartopher title this would be a serious challenge.

EDIT: Whoops, it's the 26th, damn...

And they haven't edited the more known thread in about a month.

There is already a thread for this here:

http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...php?t=10039148

The reason it takes so long before it is updated is because it takes that long to gather enough people to go out. If you are not certain you have enough people it will be a bust and thus take even longer to organize the next outing as those who showed up when it went bust won't want to waste their time again.

Anet has no reason to do an update for this as you do not need Jade Quarry in order to get the title, as long as you are very thorough with everything else. See my guide stickied at the top of this forum. If that doesn't get you the title, see my service thread posted on page two of the guide.

Or be patient, and you will get in using the link to the normal Quarry exploration thread. Many options are open to you.

Livingston,

First off, I would like to thank you for your guide because I went from 97.9 to 98.9 with my Tyria character.

My remarks was directed to Anet staff as I'm aware, they maybe lurking on this board. As you understand the map title is a challenging title because by pressing the "M" key on the keyboard you don't see what area you need to visit to clear. I believe Anet show consider updating the Jade Quarry because the whole point of the game is to provide "ENTERTAINMENT" and not "Fustration" for our free time. The fact that there are these threads for people working on the map title shows a demand for this form of game entertainment. Anet provided an update to allow people to continue from where they left off after an internet connection problem. So I'm sure they will listen.

I see where you are coming from, but I get my entertainment from the challenge. So if this title were easier it would ruin it for me. As it is, I believe the Canthan GMC is one of the harderst titles to get that doesn't rely on money, and that's why I'll where it even over Kind of a Big Deal. If it were easier to get it would ruin the title for me and the only "hard" ones that would exist would be the ones where you have to have a gazillion gold.
