Default First quest in Tyria for a foreigner ?

i currently own GW: NF and GW: Factions, now, i bought the prophecies campaign and it should arrive next week.
my friend also bought GW: prophecies (his first campaign) and he wants to do all the quests with me...
so, i want to tell him to do all primary quests until the quest i will start in, with my foreign character...
whats that quest ?

You will meet him at Lions Arch, that the 1st place u arrive in Tryia. You 1st quest i believe is "Report to the White Mantle" or something like that.

Yep, "Report to the White Mantle", you can get it from Armen the Guide (I think his name is that) in LA.

If your friend wants to do everything with you, you probably have to start a character in that campaign. Your character starts in Lion's Arch; about half way through the game.

I would go with DunedainJedi's suggestion and start a new Prophecies character with your friend. This way you can enjoy Pre-Searing together plus the rest.

Another idea is to explore the game back to the start, doing the missions on the way.
Just use the map, the further back you go, the easier it gets, of course.
Go past Ascalon to Fort Ranik.
It doesn't take long, & then you can start going forward to the end-game.
That Tyria map is your best friend, just keep it up & swap screens when you are lost.
