i myself just gave up. I was level 13 and realized I would most likely never take the time to death level and get the title. Plus i needed another mule.

I know couple ppl who got this title. And they said it takes 3months nolifing. So for me this title isnt so important. id like have survivor without powerlvl more. or 10000mins drunk.

The title isn't very difficult to get; it's simply the time it takes to get it. However, if you ever took xp from a quest at any time (yes this includes the very quest in the game), then you will NOT reach level twenty. You can only death level to level 19 exactly; from there, it takes every quest in pre-searing to get you to level 20. So, for monks, necromancers, and warriors (who recieve their first two skills after completing the first quest given by their trainers [ciglo, van, what's-her-face] , this would be very difficult.) Anywho, it takes less time to get to rank nine than it does to get legendary title (to a reasonable gamer at least).

um, not true, you still get xp at 19 just not very much per kill so you want the quests at that time. Truth be told, there are not enough quests in Pre to gain you level 20 from the exact number of xp level 19 starts at.

plz dont make posts if you have no idea what you are talking about ....

i know for a fact that you can death level at 19, people save the quests for 20 becasue it is most time conserving to save them till level 19

im doing this title myself, i am level 18 and 38% atm with every quest in pre saved (exluding the quest that gives you your first set of skills after you complete it).
The title isnt that dauting as one might think, it takes 2 days of a few hrs a day to get to level 10 or 11, from there you can solo the northlands, and it is actaully quite fun to clear the northlands (different aspect to GW imo). Getting to 15 is not bad at all (took me about 4-5 days), although level 16 is a bit tedious (about 86 boss runs, took me about 12 mins per run from ascalon->northlands->ascalon ). Since then I spend about 20 mins per night before I go to bed to setup charr to death level. Which yields anywhere from 5-11% per night depending on your level and how the groups share the exp they get off killing you(the exp distribution seems to be very inconsistant in my experience). Time consuming its not as bad as most people think it is, definatly takes more time to get from rank 0 to rank 9 (why do I get the feeling the guy I quoted is not even r9 himself )

I see a lot of posts talking about it taking hundreds of hours to get this title lol But if you figure it out, you have to lvl a spider or moa to lvl 20 for max effect, and that takes just about 9 hours if you get a 2 monster spawn. To get from lvl 17 to lvl20 you have to do this about 320 times, making it 2,880 hrs to get from lvl17 to 20. So even if you do this on a continual basis with a spare pc, 24/7, it will take a min of 120 days

Which is why people level multiple enemies up at once. Like the guy from CC said, he levels charr. That will cut down on the time drastically, and since most of the death leveling occurs at night, its not that bad on time.

I've seen God Anti------ in pre a long time ago. In fact she's the one who taught me how to 55 monk (she invited me to meet with her lvl 20 character outside of pre and demonstrated for me.) She's got black armor, lvl 20, in pre. And I've had a character that was lvl 18 in pre before I deleted her. I saved all the quests until I was level 10... I should have waited longer though, I found it impossible to keep leveling once I hit 18.

I might try again sometime.

I think it probably takes about as long to get r6 as to get to level 15-16 in pre (maybe 5ish days of playing a lot?). It all depends on how long it takes to get from that point to level 20, but I think r9 takes a lot longer still ^ ^

People who don't have certain titles always try to claim that their title is better than other people's, so it's not surprising to see someone claim that legendary defender of ascalon is harder than r9. Heck, I can claim my KoaBD is harder than r12, but that's just because their phoenix pwns my tiger :P
