Thunderhead Keep Bonus - Bugged?
Hello, just recently me and some other people recently attempted the Thunderhead Keep Bonus.
We lit the two Storm Beacons - and drew additional Murssat forces into the keep.
However, when we killed Confessor Dorian at the end, we did not receive credit for the bonus. We went exploring to kill the rest of the Mursaat, and when we did, we still did not receive credit.
Has anyone tried the bonus and sucessfully completed this bonus? And has paticular scenario occured to anyone else?
Thanks - Formina.

yes its a little glitchy. after u kill dorian and u still havent got bonus. just make sure no one talks to the king yet.
go outside and scout the area. u should find some murssat and jades hanging around. kill them and u will get bonus
p.s i think it might be a bit of a hit/miss. because first time i did it i didnt get bonus but 2nd time i did it i got bonus.

Yeah, I just did it today (trying to get the title). If you take too long to light the beacons, the Mursaat will have killed the Dwarves in the town next to the Keep. You're best bet is to have two people light one beacon each, it's faster that way.

You don't get credit for the bonus until you talk to the king.

What Asrial said. You don't get the second sword and credit until you finish the mission by talking to the king.

And its not quite 30 seconds either. I think its closer to 60, to allow for people to do it with henchman without a running skill. I lit both on my warrior using hench without Sprint, went outside to check 1 side and the dwarves were still alive and kicking.
I've done the mission a few times to explore it (meaning reached the fort and ran off), if you go towards the edges you'll see 3 jades wandering around just outside where the dwarves are, then suddenly a Mursaat Ele and Jade spawn practically on top of them and wipe them out. I'm guessing lighting the beacons basically stops them spawning there, thing is 1 trip the Jade patrol outside got too close and killed the dwarves anyway... which might of stopped you doing the bonus.... least we can hope not.

We lit both of them in 30 seconds, killed the boss, no sign of "Bonus Failed". It said, go talk to King. We talked to him and only one sword. How the hell am I supposed to do this freaking mission?

I was trying to do this with heroes and henchies for a while and had the same problem - thought I did everything right and still didn't get bonus. But then I found that one group of dwarves always died (I'm sure it was in well under 30 seconds). Then I equipped a running skill and lit both beacons as quick as I could, and I got the bonus at the end.
I think you just have to be extra quick.
However, you say both groups of dwarves were still alive and you didn't get bonus. If you're being honest about that, I would say there is a glitch.
By the way, this mission is now very easy with henchies and heroes - I remember when it was all but impossible without real people. Amazing how times change.

No it didn't for me. I only found out when I'd wasted another 20 minutes getting to the end.
But if I recall, the dwarves get a bit panicky and say "aaaarrggh" etc when the mursaat start attacking them. Before that they're just saying they're surrounded etc.

hm I did this hella easy with my assassin, 3 heroes, and 4 henches, a couple days ago. Assassin had one run skill and lit both beacons in time. The rest was bonus history

hmm. I also read somewhere that after you light the beacons you can hide behind the king from the first group that comes in and they will kill the others until they die off before you have to do any fighting! Haven't tryed it but going to sometime soon!

yeah also good idea to use the catapult before talking to the king to begin the second part of the mission. kills those trolls outside and often times enemy troops like to camp there for like 30 seconds so you can pound them a little.
