Default Do any of the solo UW builds work for hard mode?

I've noticed that the drops have been really lacking in normal smite runs since the update. Not much ecto, sour grapes in the chests, less gold dropping, etc. Been using W/Rt. Tried HM and got owned quickly, needless to say. Just can't outrun the bladed with their boosted speed. Can any of the solo builds (or even 2 man) adapt to HM? If so, are the smite run drops any better?

55 hp + Famine Duo should work in Hardmode. Maybe with some slight variations to keep SB up longer but it should work even better than in normal mode.

Smiter and Spirit Bond dual monk team is the most efficient in hard mode uw. 1) You earn a skill on the tank because Elemental Resistance is no longer needed (I.e take SV/AV to speed up smites)
2) The monsters attack faster which kills them faster.
3) Easy run with a small chance of failure, since you always have a rebirth.

From what I've noticed, the drops are far better than they used to be in terms of gold weapons, keys, ectos, rubies, etc. but less in gp, white weapons - which is good.
