Default Question about Gems

I have read before that Ruby Daggers salv to gemstones,I just got some gold daggers from a chest in Mirr of Lyss and need to know if it makes a difference if u indentify first or salv unidentified?

i'd say always identify the daggers before salvaging as for ruby if you can apply a measure for measure inscription it gives you a better chance of a gem in salvage. as for your gold ones their might be something you want to salvaGE OUT that is worth more then the daggers alone

Always id them first...
I put in a measure for measure on :
1. diamond aegis (crap mod) got 1 diamond
2. jeweled daggers got 2 sapphires - jeweled chakram and staffs don't work
3. steel daggers got 5 steel.
