Basically, i used to play the original guild wars but sold my account and i've recently bought Factions. I'm wondering if i bought the 1st guild wars if i could travel from Cantha to Tyria? Or is that not possible?

It is possible if you add the new key to your account

You have to add the Cantha key to the same account as ur Prophecies (or Vica Versa) You would have to re-buy a Prophecies key and add in onto ur current account to have access to Tryia.

#2. The answer is so bloody obvious I'm not sure why you're asking this question.

Look.... your ability to access a certain campaign, landmass, skills, etc.... is linked to the keycode... which is linked to the account to which you initially assigned it to play.
You said you sold your prophecies account. That means you sold your prophecies key.... That means you sold your ability to access prophecies.

Could it be any more blindingly obvious than that?

If you want access to Tyria... you'll need to buy another Prophecies key...
