Ok heres my problem, I'm a lvl 20 A/Mo, I started off with Luxon and finished the game BUT I also did all the Kurzick quests and have 10k faction with them also. I have done pvp battles for both sides Luxon and Kurzick, but when I talk with Kurzick vendors / armor / weapons etc. they tell me they only help Kurzick friends. I should be friends with Both of them considering I've done all the quests for BOTH sides.

I like Luxon but think the look of Kurzick armor is a bit better, so I'm kind of stuck at the moment.

If you have 10k factions talk to the NPC that gives Faction Rewards in House Zu Helzer. Once you trade your factions for amber the Kurzick NPCS will allow you to deal with them. However, it would reverse your chances with the luxons until you donate luxon factions.

I'm a Kurzick, but I enjoy getting both 15k Luxon and Kurzick armor and seeing the political rants of players who act like Trekkies doing a drive-by shooting at some Star Wars convention.

I lost 2k Luxon faction, and 2k Kurzick buying two chunks of amber and they still won't talk with me.

anyways, the only thing that the luxon/kurzick merchants, crafters, etc look at is which side do you have more faction with currently. I'm not sure what happens when you're equal on both sides since I don't like to waste anything and turn in faction before i start making any for the other side. I assume if you have equal amounts, then it looks at your guild affiliation.

hence, if you are in a luxon guild and want to use the kurzick guys, just have more kurzick faction points on your account than luxon points. note, I am not talking about the points that are in the title track but the points that are listed in the same area with balthazar, luxon, kurzick (the area with the 10k cap on each).

whenever you use faction points (trade for materials, scrolls, donate to guild), you'll lose the equivalent number of points in the other side.
since you said you had 10k and used 2k of kurzick, you should now have 8k in both sides. just earn at least 1 more kurzick point and you should be able to use the kurzick armor crafter

If you have equal faction on both sides, your guild allegiance decides who will talk to you I think. So just have more of whatever faction you want to talk to you and they will.

if you are at exactly equal ammounts, the fastest way to get you that tiny bit more you need to have one more than the other is to get a blessing from the side you want to talk to.

IE say you have 8k Kurz and 8k Lux, go out and talk to a kurz priest at a shrine. Bribe him and then buy a blessing. You will get 10 Kurzick faction, and thus have 8010 Kurz total. The merchants/crafters will now speak with you.

Yes, you need more faction of one of the two.

ex: you want kurzick armor so you'll need kurzick faction *your in a luxon guild* you need to get more kurzick faction than luxon.

It doesn't matter what type of guild you are in Luxon or Kurzick, you can still get armor from either side.
