I did a test of sorts, since I bought Nightfall only a few days ago, with my Paragon. Quite simple really... What was the minimum level I could progress with after doing ALL the quests on the first island in Elona.

Well, no doubt I missed some quests, even though I looked all over the map and uncovered more than 21% of Elona on the island, I dare to say one or two NPCs slipped through. However, that withstanding, I just got to the mainland on her, and my report is this:

All quests, all missions and bonuses on small Elona island = minimum level 18. My personal record that I just made was level 19 during the last mission from the docks (where you kill 3 field marshalls) - and leveled to 20 during the misson.

I find it kinda odd, because when guilwars was first released (first 2 days after pre-release) I seem to remember nobody was level 20 until we got to the desert when we started dying more often

And that was at least 50% of tyria done. So, Im quite excited actually, so much map left to explore, I suppose its better - I shall see. Just had to share this with you guys

Prophecies was designed with a gentle learning curve, NF's is a a faster one, but not as fast as Factions

NF system makes it less painful for people who are making their 9th character because they don't want to spend 50 hours leveling to 20 again >.>

I got my Dervish to level 20 on the starting island and I know I missed a few quests.

And on my Paragon, which I just powered through the primary quest chain, except for side quests that gave att points/heroes, and I was level 15 at docks.
