hmm im pulling my hair out here, in Borlis Pass mission and would value anyones advice please.

I have completed the bonus and reached the point where i am supposed to meet Prince Rurik. I used the Gate Switch lever to open the first gate, then went through and I have killed all the enemy at the next gates and the 2 ballistas are destroyed. I read that the gates are supposed to open at this point? Yet they dont.

I can see Prince Rurik on the other side, and he is allied to me in party. I am at a loss what to do now, i have tried blowing up the gate with kegs to no avail, and searched all over for any other enemies.

Anyone have ideas or what im doing wrong please? Or is it a bug... i got stuck in the left hand balista and had to use the /stuck command to free myself.. Does anyone know if this ever breaks the flow of quest actions?

:/ Ill leave the mission open for a while and see if anyone here is able to help before i quit out. Cheers guys!

EDIT - hmm, i just found this while searching google to see if anyone had the same issue. This is a guru archive link from 2005 where people talked about it being bugged now and again... anyone know what happened or is it still going?

Oh dear... if you killed all the ice golems and stone summit and the door hasnt open, im afraid you cant progress.

Dont miss the Stone Summit enemies on the road leading away from the gate, they count too. If they are alive it won't open.

Yep, as i feared looks like ive hit a bug of somesort unfortunately :S

Ive gone over the whole area 3 times, and had killed the beasties you mentioned on the other road as well, and not found any enemy left at all. Both balista have smoke coming from them.
