Seriously, I've kept most of my Tapestry Shreds, so I have about 7 of them. I honestly hope they do something with the Shreds and Preserved Flowers, but I won't be surprised if they don't. (disappointed, but not surprised).

If there is demand for them, it will be interesting because it will require people to either delete characters and make new ones, or buy new slots.

I have one from my first character still and ive been holding onto it knowing that it will be used at one point. Will that time be now? Here's hoping!

It's now or probably never: we know Gwen is in Eye of the North.

My guess: The Flower and/or Tapestry Shred could be used to unlock special armor for Gwen (if she's a hero).

Not such a big deal to be game-breaking, but a nice bonus for those of us who bothered to save the things.

EDIT: I suppose it could be used in the special Bonus Mission... hmm.

I doubt that, because then Factions or Nightfall only people would be unable to get the "Title" Hero...

then again, would Factions or Nightfall only players even want Gwen as a hero?

It may also be used to un-lock a quest involving GWEN and they may use any of her junk thrown around the various chapters to do so ( which I think would be neat )....... although I can't recall a thing of hers laying around Cantha and GWEN will be playable from all chapters so....... they may just be useless.

Give her some preserved iris flowers, the tapestry shred and the tattered girls cape (does anyone still have one of these?) and she'll follow you around healing you every once in a while.

Oh, yes, I still have flowers, a couple of unbroken flutes (they don't stack), and some girl's capes. Just in case. (not enough to make any money on, but still...)

I made a pre searing character especially to get some of these pre-searing exclusive items. Hopefully it will finally be useful in GW:EN (And not just for the bonus mission pack owners)

By the way: I enjoyed playing in pre again. It felt like a loooong time ago.

Yeah, but what is the use of the quest item then? Just to take up space in inventory? Does Gwen give it so you can delete it? It makes no sense, it should have some purpose.

Broken/unfinished quest. I think that this has been stated officially before, but since then it has been hinted that they might have a further use.

The problem with that theory is, why didn't they ever fix it or remove the Tapestry Shred from the game?

And why add a Preserved Flower to Nightfall?

Of course I realize the problem with my theory is that there are no Gwen related items in Factions. Oh, well, we'll find out soon enough!

When they noticed their mistake, they probably changed their plans to give them something use in GW, but later when Gwen appear once again in story.

I'm hanging on to a broken flute just in case. It's next to the preserved flower. My mesmer won't part with either of those... he gets rather emotional on occasion. Of course, the occasional spikes eggnog doesn't help things...

I have the RARE gwen item called "Tattered Girl's Cape".

I have been holding onto it for a long time. They stopped dropping along time ago. I hope they do something with this for all the people that held onto it!

Of course it would be nice if they did mean something in GW:EN, but I have my doubts since they were items used to basically just show us that gwen was still around somewhere...

God, I hope they don't do anything stupid like that. Using items that don't exist anymore is just asking for even more backlash.
