Hey all who are donig the cartograhper title!
I started cartographer in cantha recently, and for my guildies i made the following video tutorial on how to use the difference method explained on the first page of this thread, so if anyone doesnt get the walkthrough maybe this will help

The program i used is Fireworks 4 from macromedia, but im absolutely certain that The Gimp (free) can do the same thing, so just give it a quick download

ps, i'm on 99.8% of cantha from using this method!
the maps i used were TC Fishes, as i find them useful and easy to locate!
Any compression and wierdness was because i filmed in widescreen and had to compress to 4:3 in wmp :P

hi all

i am stuck on 97.5% and i was wondering if anyone could do a comparision and point out where i need to go

My character is a monk so i have been trying to do this for a while so plz help

I'm up to 99.3% on the Cantha map. I know I got a little bit left around the training area on Shing Jea, but can anyone look if I missed other areas I'm not aware of?

I might have used that in my guide if not for the Oasis soundtrack. *shudders*

Ok I am at 98.1% now and running out of ideas, the only spot I know I am missing is being banished, but that isnt enough.

Ive got 100% Grandmaster Cartographer for cantha as well as my Kind of a Big Deal title. Thanks for all the help. Ill post my pic maybe later this week.

shingjae island you need just a few minor pieces of fog which I circled in red for you, as for the rest I'll give it a look in a bit

Mount Quinkai you need to be sure and do the challenge mission south of arborstone, it may take you a few tries to get it all mapped

Well, I am now at 99.9%, which is most annoying. Anyone know if they are opening the Monastery Overlook for the event this weekend? I should get it for sure then. The only other spot I can see that needs doing is the banishment area, and despite following all the advice I can find on it, he keeps banishing everyone but me!!

I am at 98.4% of the cantha map with my warrior. I know I need a few spots and one of them is the town of Vizunah Square (local).
I have foreign. Is there a quest I need to complete to walk in there? I have walked through the sewers many times but when I get to the door it will not let me walk through like the newb island did. Please help with this. thanks in advance

Looking for really high resolution to try to find the last little parts I'm missing... hopefully, w/o town markers which is why I'm looking for a "U" map instead of the regular world map.

Hi, I would like to request that someone please upload a 100% 1280x1024 zoomed-out map of Cantha(no outposts/towns).

All the 1280x1024 currently on the forums maps are not 100%, or the server no longer hosts them.

If someone could please that would be awesome!
