I had the same problem. I guess you'll need to try at different times of the day, there might be people around when you don't expect it
This PvP arena isn't very popular so focus on everything else you need for your map and get there when you have nothing to do just to see.
Oh and don't bother getting on EU servers, Jade Quarry is always desert out there...

I do know I have a little of Jade Quarry left, and I haven't got all of the Monastery Overlook and Shing Jea arena.

Pretty please with cherry on top, I would love if someone could go over my screenies and point out any places that I have missed.

Thank you berry mulchly!
If you have read this thread extensively, I hope that you have also read this thread as well: Thread

As per usual I don't have a whole lot of time to check maps, but I looked at your first one of Jade Quarry and then I checked your Shing Jea. Shing Jea seems to be an area in particular where people who have high % still need many areas in Shing Jea. I would guess that this is because they don't have as much experience in uncovering Canthan land at the stage that they are there, and I think people just assume that since it's the noob isle, that it's really easy to explore and clear. But that's definitely not the case. There were plenty of times that I thought I had Shing Jea clear and I still found spots I was missing, in fact this even happened after I did my guide. I still need to update my map with two spots I didn't fully clear - East of 3 and 24.

Any whoo, here's what I found:

Mount Qinkai

17
18
19

Shing Jea

1
4
5
11 (East of)
13
24
25

I know that you were aware of the ones in Jade Quarry, but to be missing 6 of the spots that I have circled in Shing Jea means that you could probably benefit from a second checking of the other areas I have marked on my maps.

If you do another check after seeing the differences in the ones I have just pointed out, you should find heaps more, if after that you get stuck again, then let us know and I'll help you find some more.

Also, I haven't looked at your other maps yet, but I wasn't able to check some parts of your Shing Jea map as you cut off bits of the water that you actually need to uncover, specifically in the NE area of the map. So you may want to repost that area with more of the water showing, and make sure none of your other maps cut parts off.

Good Luck!

I address this in post 3 of my thread, but as of yet, no one has taken me up on it.

I actually meant a PM on this board. That way I can maintain a list of everyone that needs to get in.

I think I'll go ahead and create a seperate thread for that though, so people will be sure to see it.

Edit: Here's the new thread: Need Jade Quarry Thread

Enko: Could you please go there and leave what times that you will be available?

At 99.1%, Need Jade and possibly a part of Aspenwood. Have replied to r thread. R maps are a great help, as I am comparing mine to r's and finding small bits. Esp on Shing Jea, I thought I had done it all until i compared r's to mine

Unless you share screenshots of your "U" window, none of us will ever know what precisely you're missing.

What is this "R" you speak of? When you say "R map" are you referring to the minimap that opens in the "U" window?

Interesting you point out those spots on Shing Jea, Livingstone. I've scraped them three times already, extensively slowly...excruciatingly

And yes, I read the "How to" thread too, tried the Alt-Tab method etc. I guess a Full Scrape Part Four is in order.

Can you actually see the difference in the spots that you are trying to scrape? If you can't, then try zooming in on both your U map and your comparison map (which you should be using Leighwyn's). If you aren't noticing the difference, scraping in the same way a fourth time probably isn't going to help, as you won't know what you are trying to uncover exactly. Once you are able to see the exact spots you need, rather than just the general area, you can then jam some of the closest spots and actually see it when you get it. Sometimes you simply have to sit in a particular nook until it uncovers. It won't just do it while you are walking. So my advice on spots like this is to go extremely slow. Make sure you are facing the spot you are trying to uncover, stop completely every other second, and make sure you are not passing up any little nooks that are jutting out towards your target. When you do find these little nooks, which will often just be a tiny triangle that sticks out further than the rest of the border towards your goal, sit in them for a couple of seconds and then move in and out of them to make absolutely sure that the server has recognized you as having hit the spot. Even if you walk in and out of it at a slow pace, if the spot is small enough, then it won't register on the server and you won't uncover the spot. I learned this from Shyft and it worked for me on quite a few spots that I had scraped dozens of times. If this still doesn’t work, then point out the spots you still can’t get and we will help you figure out how to get to them.

And my name does not end with an "E"

I know you have seen my maps. Those numbers all represent places that were the last % that people needed. I would guess that your last % is marked on them as well. So you can use them and see for yourself, use Leighwyn's method and see if you can find other spots that I haven't marked, or as Shyft said post your updated maps here and we'll find them for you.

LOL. Are you one of those hitchhikers from another galaxy, because I'm not aware of "R" meaning "your" in this one...

I'll have a look at your maps as soon as I get the chance and will edit this post with what I find.

Dude...

Major cartographer faux pas.

You didn't use your U map. -_-

Open your U map, retake the screens, and then come back to us.

Livingston

(PS I just wanted to use Faux pas in a sentence because it has an "X" in it and sounds nothing like how it's spelled. It's awesome. But yeah we do still need your U maps. )

Alright, I have gotten to 99.8% and am having trouble finding the last .2%.

I know one spot is kaineng 6, but I dont know how to get close to those docks. What area do I access them from?

anyways my maps can be viewed here:
http://filexoom.com/files/15336/998map.jpg

and that sites very unreliable (like most image/file hosting sites which allow large files) so if it doesnt work try these
http://www.MyOnlineImages.com/Member...es/998main.jpg
http://www.MyOnlineImages.com/Member.../998island.jpg

also I think you may be missing a bit on shing jea on the often missed spots map, check here: http://img172.imageshack.us/img172/7598/moreqw2.jpg
just saying because it seems like a really easy spot to get and might be helpful

time for me to break my keyboard with some rapid alt-tabs

edit: I am also trying to get that little piece at kaineng 20, I have tried the explorable area and cant seem to get anywhere near it. I also tried the mission but ended up getting an error 7 against the aspects. How do I get close enough for that one?

Kaineng 6 is the NE corner of Bejunkan Pier. Make sure to explore the lower level, where you find the NPC to transport your Canthan character to Tyria for the first time during Chaos in Kryta quest. I don't remember if you can walk onto the docked ship, but try anyway.

Kaineng 20 unfogs from inside Zin Ku Corridor outpost. Hit the corner that's directly NE of the spot.

I don't have time to check your maps in detail, but it seems that the first site you list is indeed down as it tells me

Your other links work fine, and from a passing glance it seems you're missing NE corner of Imperial Sanctum mission (banishment path), the SE corner of Undercity, the "farmland" spot east of Maatu Keep, and the tiny island in the SW corner of Gyala Hatchery explorable.

Thanks for pointing this out, but yes I was aware of the spot and have long since uncovered it. There's a few other spots I have also cleared since making those maps, but haven't had the time to update them.
