As far as the armors go, it's for sure an improvement. I think the monk armors look better then any before it. Obviously IMHO.

As for the norns, asura etc. heros. It may very well be they are unique and not a *standard* class, since this is a preview of GW2 introducing the new playable races. I wouldn't doubt that they are quite different then the classes GW has given us. Just take the asuras ability to morph.

The Norn CAN morph. See all those pics of the giant bear in norn armor.
Also you get PvE only skills that allow you to morph into an owl, bear, wolf.

Yes, Norn has a special skill that allows them to Shapeshift into a bear. This has been confirmed by Anet.

Pretty sure Seissor was talking about GWEN.

In any case, I haven't heard any mention of these new PvE only Morph skills, and was wondering if Seissor could provide the source.

(unless he's just talking about the list that circulated a bit back, that had no real information at all...)

Stuff like wolven form, urzas (ursa) form, etc. was sitting with the other obviously PvE-skills. They are likely tied to Norn title track.

No Huh.

PC Gamer article stating Norn are shape shifters.

http://www.execulink.com/~whisp1/guildwars/norn.jpg

and also talked about on wiki.

http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Norn

"The Norn are a race of shape-shifting half-giants who dwell in the Far Shiverpeaks. They will be encountered in Guild Wars Eye of the North, and will be a playable race in Guild Wars 2."

However On wiki it is stated that Asuras havea "FORM" skill in which they can turn into a golem or something so I stand corrected on that part but we will see what that really is when it comes out.

http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Asura

"players can gain the ability to transform into a Golem with enough reputation with the Asuran, suggesting that Asuran possess this ability as well. "

However with that said that may not mean that asuras themselves shapeshift , also doesnt state if this is gw:en related or gw2 related.

We get one as a hero and we meet them in the campaign. Just because we cannot play them, doesn't mean we won't meet them and they won't be able to shape shift.

Knew i'd seen they can transform, least i know i'm not mad lol

Didn't know Norn could shapeshift, didn't know they were magical at all thought they were just big brutes lol

I stand corrected.

I really hope we can do bear form. That would rock. Imagining my monk doing bear form in battle, that made me laugh too hard.

But I hope the gollem form we get from the the asura is cool looking. maybe Class and gender specific cool. *hope/wish/pray*

I wish I could play as a norn right now though... humans are getting a tad boring. I wanna cook and eat a charr raw for breakfast. on a female character...

The mesmer armor with the slightly open jacket hit the nail right on the head. It's by far the most modern armor set. and unless this

http://s183.photobucket.com/albums/x...female4fq2.jpg

is real, then this armor set totally craps all over the mesmer FoW set.

I'm most looking forward to those crazy fire, or glowing, or crystal gloves that I saw on a few charactors. The fire ones look perfect for my Ele. *glee* ^__^

I cant wait to pick GWEN up.
