Default EotN Dungeons = Missions?

I have to ask will there be any actual missions, or are these special dungeons themselves suppose to be the missions? I don’t know if someone came over this in their recent reading of GW press stuff. I was starting to wonder if this is the case, because all I seem to hear about is the Dungeons themselves (never anything about missions). What do you guys/gals think?

well theres a storyline for each race (asura, charr, human) and the main dwarf storyline... I'm assuming they'll all have missions and only the dwarf one will use extensive dungeons...

It seemed to me that the town mission concept was still there, but that it would be more like Nightfall in that the mission is kinda like a quest in the beginning that you go into explorable areas to accomplish it IE you get it from a guy in the town or whatever and go do it. The dungeons are also explorable areas in this sense... Because in some cases they advance you to a new area of the game. Northern Shiverpeaks to Tarnished coast for example. Or visa versa... But you also do your missions in the same areas. If you have not played Nightfall yet, this is basically how they structured that chapter. I expect it will continue that way in teh new GW:EN expansion.

This is pretty drastically different then the Prophecies do mission advance across map style... But I don't think anyone can argue that it does open up the map for lots other opportunities and exploration beyond aspects of a limited mission or bonus.

I thought it was Asura were the one linked to the Dungeons, because they had the gates. In addition it was the dwarf’s were the ones who lead the hero’s too them. Moreover the dwarfs are the first one lead the hero’s through I guess one of the first underground dungeon; so they can get to the Asura. Otherwise they are both connected overall I guess.

Anyways I don’t know it makes me wonder if there is like 3-4 missions that will be in EotN though (if any); one for each race and the final one against the Great Destroyer. That’s my best guess, but all it’s just speculation.

EDIT: Yeah I know about Nightfall Ingram, but they never actually said anything about the mission content though. I think you may be right because there is only a few areas within EotN that could be offered up as missions.

However I wonder why A-net has kept quit about it though? Is it the fact there are way less missions then dungeons; or the fact the dungeons their huge selling point?
