Will there be any faction~type PvP battles with the Norn/Asura/Vanguard/Deldrimor/Charr?

I'd like to see large scale pvp battles, if only less AB and more HA oriented.
I know that there will be minigames and such, but, will we see any faction-related EotN pvp?

HA type would be too serious for me. Maybe a mix between AB and HA.

I think it would be cool to have a 3 way type battle like AB.

There's a Norn arena thing, but I heard it's PvE.

Come now I'm sure both the Polymock & Boxing arena will have a PvP option. If they don't they are out of their minds.

I can just see the Polymock ladder now.. (gotta catch them all)

No there wont. Anything like that would be straight onto the list of features EotN brings like Alliance Battles were when Factions was released.

Besides it doesnt make sense to have AB type battles for those factions. Luxon and Kurzick were enemies in Factions so you could take up a side whereas Deldrimor,Vanguard,Asura and Norn appear to be allied....while Charr are breaking down with rebellions (and if i recall the Charr dont even get a faction title so its all allies anyway). I dont think they plan to move a border around Tyria.

First GW and Polymock is not a trading card game, so they have no fear of getting sued. WOTC will have an Extremely difficult time proving that Polymock infringed on thier copyrights.

Second the Mini game will use GW monsters and those are the intellectual property rights of ANET.

Third anyone can use names as they see fit as long as it is not intrusive or make them a profit $$$. For example you can have the name "I love Pikachu" and it will not infringe on the copyrights of anyone or anything. Mostly because someone with the name "I love Pikachu" is not profiting $$$ off the name itself. Id like to see Nintindo or WOTC try and prove that in court.

i've heard nothing about pvp arenas for gwen. there's enough snot on the ceiling from ha as it is. if they added a kiddy-pool to gain fame for those of us who aren't already r239487543 that would be cool. that's sorely lacking atm.

Haven't read anywhere there will be new pvp in GW:EN. Only new pvp in GW2 but that is about it.

Cry more? You shouldn't need a kiddy pool if you're half-decent at the game, which you should be if you're playing PvP.

Imo, if PvP is changed it's going to look a lot like WoW, but not as good. What I'd like to see is PvE like WoW, where you can PK nubs for lulz and such, and PvP like GW now- or before, when it was good. I.e. level cap or PvP only chars (because a higher cap/no cap wouldn't be so bad) equal gear, maybe make it harder to UAX, balance, etc. This is just what I'm interested in, which is really a mix of a few games I've played in the past. :9
