Not all of the 40 armors were leaked, and not all of those that were leaked were re-skins, although most were.
At least one warrior armor used parts from 3 different existing armors, unified via a new skin.
Were the leaked armors legit? Well the artwork was very professional, so it is likely.
Whether the leaked armors are all final is another question.

BTW, I don't want to step on any toes here - I'm just summarizing what we saw in the thread before it vaporized. Moderate as desired.

Simply because there are non-humans doesn't mean they aren't capable of crafting armour FOR humans. Asurian, Dwarven, Norn, Ebon Vangard are all proposed styles of armour, Oro, and they more or less seem to match the "styles" in the pictures that have been leaked.

That statement is already wrong, there are the four sets of gloves and their is a confirmed ninja mask mentioned in the GW:EN video, and also who says they are the only ones just because there the only ones we've seen. There may be more that are not uploaded or unsee/unheard of yet. It's all speculation until GW:EN or until A-net confirms it

Care to elaborate on this? I mentioned it before, but I really don't see the connection between the armour shown and any of the races, except maybe the furry stuff and the Norn. But then again, it would make sense to have armour like that in a very cold area.

For example, one of the Warrior sets is similar to the primeval but looks more yellowish, and the other is a reskin of the Kurzicks but red and silver. All of the Monk sets are reskins of the armour you get in Prophecies, but with much fancier patterns over them.

I fail to see the connection to the different races.
