Some of those Armors look tight like the Samurai for Dervish and Female Sin. Those two ill get when it hits for my Sin and Dervish.

I'm afraid those armors look nice but not really original/interesting. I hope they decide to make:

- a male dervish armor that doesn't include a skirt
- a male paragon armor that includes full leg protection
- assassin headgear that covers the whole head

THAT would be original and would make me happy!

I'd like to see monk headgear that's visible on monks like mine who actually have hair...

if you insist...

Note the shape of the hood and the shoulder plates. It looks like the gloves have been changed since the huge insector carapaces of doom have been removed, but the hood and the torso armour definately Ancient.

the monk and the ranger armour might be new. The monk sorta looks like sacred, but only a little. Ranger definately looks different. These could be new.

The assassin one is a rather blatant rip of imperial, although there pretty much doubled the number of useless blades hanging off of it. From what I remember of the mesmer armours, those were pretty much blantant copies of courtly/nobles, performer/elegant, rogues, etc.

There might be some original content to this, but alot of it is just new paint on old stuff, which is disappointing.

If you truly wish to nitpick, I suggest you take a look at WoW's armor for just about every profession. You'll see true reskinning with almost no creative emphasis. I'm not denying the Assassin armor is a reskin, it is. But simply because they took model art from other armor models and changed them, does not make them a reskin. If you were going by that law, then any model NOT made from scratch by the dev's would be a reskin. Although many of these armors may have similarities with armors from the past, they also have many key differences. Such as the dervish armor, the blades, the gloves, the chest all different (I also do not see how it looks like the Ancient armor set).

P.S. - I only mentioned Dervish, Monk, and Ranger to be proven in my original post.

I like the Ranger, Monk and Derv's armor! The Assassin has too many small blades

The Assassin reskin (yes it is a reskin...I have elite imperial...it's the same models)....is a better skin imo. I've always been disappointed with the blades on the elite imperial...I'll probably have to upgrade to the new Assassin Armor just so I can get the better blades....they look flashier

I agree with the full headgear for the assassin...that would be nice.

Ranger looks interesting...don't like the colors but the skin looks cool.

I like the monk....definitely gives that "cold up north" feeling.

I sincerely hope the Paragon gets Helms this time. The whole gem thing was lame, especially when other sunspear members got helms.

IMO That new paragon armor shown on the video was very nice. All the new armors looked great!

First and foremost, I'm not talking WoW, I'm talking GW. With the 3 chapters so far, no set of armour is like another, with the small exception of non-elite vs elite. Courtly and Nobles are very similar, etc.

Also, a mistype on my part, I didn't mean Ancient, I meant Primeval. As for a direct relation, well...

Notice the distinctive shape of the hood, that near right angle of the opening around the face that it makes before coming in where the material gathers around the neck. Also the shoulder plates are identical. De-colour them, or look at them on a wireframe and they're the same thing. They might have added different part, different components for the gloves, leg armour and boots, but they're probably just the wire models for other sets, I didn't look all that closely (and the pics are mainly crappy).

If they add or remove spikes, it's still the same shape. If you add a tail fin and a hood scoop to a sports car, does that make it a different car? It might have a slight distiction in it's name, an added -s or something to differentiate it, but it's still pretty much the same vehicle. The same applies with these armours. They might add streamers, spikes, ribbons, tail fins, spoilers, air horns or whatever...but ultimately it's the same model, something they haven't done before.

If the male monk one wasn't so furry I'd get it...there is a lack of male monk armor with sleeves (besides Kurzick 1.5/15K, Canthan 1.5k/15k armor, Ancient 10K).

Female Elementalist --> 1.5K Kurzick reskin with pants? I think that's a change...maybe the positive response to Ancient 10k got to them?
Male Dervish --> unique armor probably, since I don't see male ones with sleeves besides 1.5k elonian...the hood looks like 15k primeval though
Male monk --> looks like a modified kurzick 1.5/ 15k but probably isn't
Female assassin --> 15k imperial reskin?
Female ranger --> Top seems like FoW, leggings seem 15k Luxon
Male paragon --> top is probably vabbian based

Even though I suspect they are slightly modified reskins, they are pretty detailed and well done in terms of quality. It's not like they just changed colors and added a photoshop filter...

The sin is very much too similar to current armors. The paragon looks very much like a mix of vabbi top and legs with ancient gloves with a bit of detail change. The best is the dervish imo

Man, I like the monk, paragon and dervish armor. The fur on the monk armor goes well with the snowy theme, it looks great. It seems like he's been in the snowy north for a long time. The paragon armor is pretty epic.

Troll accurately at least. One set per class has a new model.

The Assassin GW:EN version looks better than the current Elite Imperial imo.

The Ranger armor looks good will be getting the Male Version of it for sure. I like the Dervish armor and will probably add that to my female Dervishs collection. The Paragon Armor.......well all Paragon armor looks the same to me anyway. I agree that they could do with scraping the stones and getting real helmets.

The Monk and Ele armors look okay but they dont really interest me.....well apart from those cross profession gloves the Ele is wearing
