That Asura looks well piss off at someone, but somehow I stil can't take them seriously. They reminded me of Nibbler's race from futurama. Wise and powerful yet cute and Cuddlely at the same time lol.

You mean the Nibblonians.

It's either a statue, or a Frozen herder, or something else...

those are coffins beneath it. Strange.

Oh, and I like the Asuras. They look more Mayan now, and less Alien. (noses and eyes changed from the mini-pet).

Yeah I can't wait to be an Asura in GW2 but this will have to hold me over. They are so weird I love them... very cute and very scary at the same time, I love it heh. But agree it does look pretty so hopefully it will be a success... I also like some of the new enemy models and such as well.

edit: there are also pictures just added on ign.com ... I don't know if they are the same ones or not but that's where I saw the recent pictures.

hmm Pic 11 will we be fighting The Cenobites from Hellraiser, those look like Puzzle boxes to me? "Pin Head: The box. You opened it. We came. Now, it is time to play." :P

Jora's pretty sexy for a female norn... I mean i was expecting an overgown, muscular, more pecs than chest girl.

Yeah... makes me wonder why anyone would want to be a human when they can be a Norn and turn into a bear.. i wonder what hook they will give to the humes... but i guess that doesn't matter untill gw2.

The alien type creatures remind me something of Zelda Twighlight Princess... especially the markings on their glowy center.

The Asura definitely are looking better and better to me. I am really glad that they have a darker side to them that we're getting a glimpse of with these newer photos.

Although, this is a pretty exciting pic that no one seemed to mention yet:

It looks like we'll be able to get that armor.

In this video you see someone wearing it at the beginning of the video and when they start fighting too:
