A place for the changes to additional title tracks that might be added and current titles that will be affected.

The skill capping titles shouldn't be affected due to no elites

The protector/guardian of Tyria titles may be affected or an eye of the north seperate title might be added (what are your thoughts on this one?)

Carthographer will be affected for sure. I hope they increase the leeway for Tyria, it took me 3 months to explore Tyria because of a tiny spot in Old Ascalon, and I wish new players would need just 1 month or so, afterall, you can get Cantha in 3 weeks and Elona in 3 days. I mean, remove the need to use 'tricks' like getting to weird places or teleporting.

And, it's probable that they add new 3 titles, one per race/minigame:
- Charr
- Norn
- Asura

I can't wait to now about it!

On updating existing titles:

Protector/Guardian of Tyria counts missions that belong to Prophecies not Eye of the North so i doubt Anet will update them. I'm betting on a new title for completeing Eye of North (Hero of The North or something like that).

I doubt Tyrian Grandmaster Cartographer would be affected aswell. And Skill Hunter like you said cannot be affected due to lack of elites...so thats the 3 title tracks of Tyria down...well unless you count Vanquisher but again i doubt that exists in Eye of the North due to the mostly underground areas.

On upcoming titles:

Deldrimor alliegence title
Ebon Vanguard alliegence title
Asura alligence title
Norn alligence title

Obviously the game is going to have alot of focus on these titles. And perhaps we will get a sort of Dungeon Vanquisher/Explorer Title. Only 22 days until we find out.

So wait, how do we know there won't be any elites in GW:EN whatsoever? Last I heard, there were no -NEW- elites.

I just find it hard to believe that the bosses throughout the new areas won't have anything for elite skills at all.

My best guess is there will be 4 title tracks. In a screenshot I saw the skills panel with tabs for Norn, Asura, Dwarf and Ebon Vanguard Title track skills. For the Norn, the title track will probably make the Animal Totem Form skills more effective. This is provided there are going to be Norn Totem Form Skills. The Asuran track will probably improve the effectiveness of the Polymock pieces you can summon. Dunno bout the Ebon Vanguard and the Dwarves though. I cant see them implementing boxing in PvE play haha.

You misunderstood me. When i said lack of elites i meant lack of elites to make a new skill hunter title (North Tyria Skill Hunter).

I'll be royally peeved if they screw with the Tyria Carthographer, in fact just leave all the carthographer titles alone because it would screw people over that have capped all 3 titles to get the Elite Carthographer. As far as other titles goes I like the sound of the Deldrimor alliegence title, Ebon Vanguard alliegence title, Asura alligence title, and Norn alligence title, no doubt there will be titles linked to completing the game normal mode and hard mode. Thats 6 titles you could max out, although I was under the impression that there would be atleast 10 titles to max with the increase of Max Title after "I'm Very Important" (check wiki for the two new concept titles).

I would think that if the bosses had elites (which I hope they do), there would be a separate title track for this (Northern Title Track, maybe?). It's just that any elites you capture in EotN would also count towards whatever title track they originated from (just like how you can capture a core elite in any chapter and it counts towards all three). But even to that extent, any elites you already have would already have been counted...

The bosses will have elites from the previous 3 campaigns. Meaning that you will be able to capture elites for your Elonian Skill Hunter title track in Eye of the North as long as you have Nightfall (which obviously you do).

No matter where you cap them the elites will only count for their own campaigns skill hunter title (And if you try to capture a elite that belongs to a campaign you dotn own i suppose a lock will be placed on it)

I'd be surprised if they were account based. Look at the incredible grind required for the Kurzick/Luxon Title Track. Then, look at Sunspear.

The fact that Anet made Sunspear Title tracks easier to gain, is evidence to me that the GWEN title tracks will be Character based.

But, I thought the Hall would be Character based, too, so I could be wrong.

I got at least 50% odds that the titles associated with the "Favor Update" will have rewards in the HoM, and by extension, GW2. Why else would they push the titles like this?
