YAY YAY YAY YAY!!!!

FRIENDLY MURSAAT!

Gimme a "BOOYA!"!

If there was ever an excuse to get excited...it's at the sight of a Mursaat.

Edit: Aww, maybe it's just "Summon Mursaat"
Oh well...I'm still hopeful there will be some "real" ones somewhere out there.

Not sure if that is the case.
"Screenshots from Arena.net's Eye of the North event, 08/07/07."

Perhaps someone can confirm these screenies were taken with consent at that event?

You mean Maurice LaMarche.

He's done voices for Futurama, Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law, Team America: World Police (he was Alec Baldwin), even Freakazoid! and The Tick.

It's probably easy to do so many roles, considering your only talking (no choreography needed).

You've got that right, old boy. GW:EN is a last bang for Anet buck and everybody who's anybody are going to want to be in it. Look at the Musaat, they want to be in it so bad. They don't even mind the minor supporting role.

Rurik will turn over in his grave, unless he makes a cameo in a flash back or something.

According to his Wikipedia page, as well as one of the screenshots from Flickr, Maurice LaMarche (i.e. The Brain) will be voicing Vekk.

Here's the screenshot I'm talking about.

Great pictures!

Gwen herself will probably be revealed to be the illegitimate love-child of Rurik and Althea, adopted by the parents who are searching for her to cover up Rurik's shame...you know...just to get him back in the storyline.

Or maybe he can be twice undead...is that even possible?

Sometimes I wish there was no new information coming out. They just make the wait all the more unbearable.

Voice acting is hard stuff actually because it's only talking. You have no control over body language, so you have to express a great deal of emotion in your voice, not to mention having a large range of different voices for various characters.
