I personally think dwarfs are old story , better add new types and unique races instead of following the old traditonial line : Humans, Dwarfs , Elfs , etc etc..

When Gaile Grey said: "Dwarves will NOT be a playable race in GW2"
That was right after the interview when a ANet employee (forgot his name) presented the new heroes of gwen and said accidentally that dwarfs will be also a playable race in gw2 just like the asura, char, and norn. I think he was correct, he knew very well what are the playable races, but such announcement should be more official. Of course Gaile Grey should have denied it.

That was the same guy that said Orr had risen from the sea bed and that we were going to it.

So.. I wouldn't take much of what he thinks there is for granted.
