It has been discussed before, and the answer is no.

HOW Many times has this question been asked before...?

NO!

NO new character slots.

It says so here: http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Image...North_logo.png

Please read this thread for more information.

Sorry if that sounded harsh...but there seems to be someone asking this question every couple of days or so.

And before you ask...no...there are no Elite skills either.

More slots doesn't do anyone any good in Eye of the North. It is for existing characters only.

LOL. How can new slots not do anyone good if each new slot means 20+10+10+5 of extra storage in our account!!

Exactly right! Also, with the current amount of character slots people can have without buying more, you'd still be 1 short of being able to have 1 of every profession.

Why would you need extra slots? You can only bring your current level 20 characters to GW:EN. Extra slots would be useless unless you plan on leveling up a new character in Prophecies, Factions, or Night Fall to take to GW:EN. The whole point of GW:EN is to take your current characters there so you can pass their titles, armor, etc to GW2 and keep players occupied until it is released.

Because as far as ArenaNet is concerned--and logically so--that's irrelevant to EotN.

Count again, there are 8 slots available if you own Prophecies (4 slots), Factions (+2 slots), and Nightfall (+2). There are 10 professions, Warrior, Ranger, Elementalist, Mesmer, Necromancer, Monk, Assassin, Ritualist, Paragon, and last but not least is the Dervish. So if you want to have one of each primary profession you would have to purchase 2 open slots.

Funny I say this because I was just corrected on this not to long ago in this very same topic.

Probably you would see the extra slot for storage though, Storage "V" cause there are ones for proph, factions, and nightfall, and then the 1 additional one you have to start with anyways... hmm, i have one entirely filled with dyes and keys, another with weapons, one with weapon upgrades, and one collectibles and mini pets ^.^
But yeah, Storage "V" should be there

I think they should give 2 extra slots no matter what... 2 more slots would mean you would beable to have all 10 characters if you got all 3 campaigns. It would be good for the people that don't want to spend 20 bux on 2 slots. I personally bought 2 slots myself and got all 10 chars lvl 20. I mean you never know if the 2 professions you ain't got is going to be useful in EoTN... and if it is, u'll have to pay 10-20 bux. But then again, for people that only have Prophecies would have 6 slots and only have 4 of the professions to use/create. But, 2 slots would still be useful if they want to create pvp characters or use for extra storage. I know i can probably use 2 extra chars for storage only... so that way my chars dont have so much stuff in their bags when i use them. It would be nice. But no sense dreaming.

To clarify...You got one character slot with Nightfall, and one with the Nightfall Pre-order pack, unless this has changed since I pre-ordered Nightfall.

so two slots for the NF, and one more if you had preordered.

On topic, no new profs, no need for new slots. That's it.

Would be nice if GW:EN'll give us even 1 free slot, but they won't. So don't lose any sleep over it.
