It took me a while to figure out it, too: "The stone" that's being referred to is the big, falling stone trap in the Jokanur Diggings mission. There're similar traps in Sorrow's Furnace (a lot of them, I might add).

It might look easy when your only goal is to dodge them, much like projectiles in normal game, but try dodging them and attacking the boss or casting a spell and you will see it's not that easy to dodge them, so I think even real player will have trouble dodging them.

But i believe they want and will make a kind of game that everyone want to play.

No matter how many people will be playing GWEN, there will always be a lack of good pugs. Why do you think many people only play with heroes/henchies or guildies?

Depending on what dodging them is going to be like, I doubt that it'll be hard for a human player to dodge them.

I think the most difficult portion of having your heroes and henchies dodge the obstacles, etc. is having to click on the flag icon on the compass. Aside from that, I don't see how this looks too difficult...Maybe playing a warrior is much easier than I thought.

And what makes you think those fireballs won't targret/effect you heroes and henchies?

You do realise that in that case you won't be doing anything else during the fight except micro-managementing your heroes movement?

You dare judge mah skillz!? Plus I have the flag key bound to V, so it's much more reliable in those "OH SHI-" situations.

Well, it'll all depend on what we get to see upcoming weekend. Best thing is wait up to see the new henches/heroes + skills to see what you can brew together to pwn EotN

I personally only use hero/hench for random and some story based quests. I only use Guild members for AB. I've used PUGs for all the campains and never had much problem. Plus I play GW for fun, and talking and working with random other people is more fun than the unresponsive heros.

I dont know why you complain about hench and heroes i passed every single mission in all 3 Chapters with hench and heroes and passed Factions only with hench (Xept Shiro) I dont see a real problme with Henchmen heroes its your foult they suck but henchmen true at times they get killed when YOU ReAL player wouldnt but compared to enemy they are better and you dont need to bothe rlooking at their builds and finding a party for 3 hours

True People are better then hench but Its possible top pass this and that with em without breaking much sweat

Consider heroes/henches never tried to dodge any Sieges in prophecies missions, nor the fire traps, spike traps, and whatnot (even if you plant the flag to tell them to just stay away from the traps) in missions like Sunjiang District...

I highly doubt heroes/henches will even try to dodge this fireball either. At most you can do is flag casters to stop what they are casting and move a couple steps away from the fireball path.

The only question is whether it's insta-kill regardless or it is like boss AoE damage that may or may not be curable based on preparations.

We should be able to flag henchies individualy, as we can with heros
Or.. Be able to bring more than 3 heros

The quoted statement here is completely false.

Most good PVE'ers rarely, if ever PUG. Heroes are 100 000x better than the average PUG player. Just about every Legendary Guardian or Legendary Vanquisher out there did it with mostly Heroes, since most PVE'ers who take real people are way way too bad to be able to handle hard mode PVE hence don't even bother to try. Whereas Heroes can handle HM excellently.

If EOTN contains gimmicks like fireballs that Heroes can't dodge properly in a lame attempt to force good players back into playing in terrible PUGs that they hate, that will be extremely annoying. If that is the case, time to start rolling out the petitions to change it.

The REAL question is whether or not these boss 'attacks' can be interrupted with something like CoF or CoP.

Gwen's a mesmer after all...

I just really really hope this is not going to be like the end-game-raids in WOW and Everquest.

I left those games because i hate spending hours to get a group together for something that will take hours. (And what can become a total wipe-out in a few minutes)
