Default GW:EN to easy

Isn't the exspansion a bit to easy, when you can complete all what is avaible at the sneak peek with hero's and henches within 36 hours?
I defently hope that the rest will be more of a challenge.

Play much? (yes it's rhetorical).

I didn't exactly play 36 hours (I mean, Jesus), but yes, I did find it mostly boringly easy. But everywhere in normal mode PvE could always be "C-Space" steamrolled with cookie-cutter heroes/henchies, with the odd broadhead arrow on that nasty caster. Yeah, it's a touch harder than Prophecies/Factions/Nightfall, but the ability to bring along a third SF hero now tends to negate the difference...:P

That said, countdown to a colossal "Get a life"-themed flamefest.

@ OP-I'm glad it isn't hard, I hate having to try over and over again to achieve one thing. The dungeons are somewhat hard for me, but I mean, it's not like there FoW/UW, they need to be a LITTLE bit easier for the casual players. Frankly I'm glad it isn't hard.

Yea I know what you mean. One thing I HATED with DoA was that EVERYONE had to play some sort of build based on the single team build that could beat it (Y'know... stoneflesh tank, bonder, 3 nukers, 1 HB etc), so that kinda sucked. Dungeons give great rewards and you don't need to play a specific build to beat them. Also, many people are disappointed that there are rez shrines in the dungeons... which helps people who wipe. I myself... enjoy it because I'd rather not go through 5 levels and then die. And +, those shrines are also giving you the dwarven hunt to get points.

I love whoever thought of rez shrines at A-net.

P.S.-On my 3rd dungeon, I encounted a puzzle-like thingy(had to find something to unlock a door), and one door I opened I ran in and found Ooze's multiplying O.O Needless to say that rocked, but I must say my heros/henchys alwasy get pwned by the traps, I think there should be a better way to avoid them, I tried to run past like 4 and got owned >>

Easy? EASY?! Yeah, I'm not the richest player. Hell, I'm not even the BEST player, but I've only been able to use Henchies and heros thus far, and I get to 60% DP about.. 40% of the time, and end up having to restart from a town half the time to get rid of the DP. (I'm a casual player that idles a lot to talk to friends, so I've done maybe... 1/3 of the preview? ~_~ maybe a bit more?)

I found it enjoyable. And, fun is nice.

I didn't play blind folded with one hand behind my back, so maybe I don't appreciate the frustration of overly difficult things as well as some folks.

Overall, I found GW:EN too easy, a few points a lil challenging.

Hopefully we'll have HM option on release.

Remember, this is only the Shiverpeaks region and probably only half of it. Once players get to the mainland, it'll get harder.

I'm glad that there's no baby-spots in this one. So annoying when i had to pwn little baby monsters for a little reward. Now u face LvL28 Yetis with so much health and armor, it's like taking down a testosterone-induced elephant...

I like it, and it shows that Anet is gathering build info to counter the PvE metagame(Frigid Armor, Guilt, more Daze, Maelstroms every corner, Frozen Soil>Quicksand>QZ>Winter, Interrupts up the ass, and the white rabbit of Doom...)

The only thing that's too easy is those stupid centaurs on the surface. Once you get into the dungeons the difficulty level is about right for what are supposed to be the the "early" sections of the game.

Heck, there's some things that I would classify as "too hard for hench."

I didn't find anything that couldn't be done with heroes and henchies.

I love the difficulty level. Atleast from what we have seen. If its wtfowned like DoA where monsters hit for 500+ damage a hit, then I will complain.

Difficulty? Fair, considering what Factions and Nightfall has taught us. The only annoyance I've had was the centaur mobs ALL having Trample (and Destroyer Tremors having Tremor, but you only have to face one at a time).

Knockdowns for 4 seconds is not fun. It does encourage bringing interrupts/Ward of Stability though, which is good.

Luckily, henchmen got a huge upgrade in skill bars, so I can't really complain about the slight increase in power foes have. Our hero/hench parties got a bigger increase than they did.

I wouldn't complain now. You still have like ~75%-90% of the expansion still to do.
