That's a Drakkar.

Remember the huge bones all around the world?
Crystal Desert, for instance?
They are Drakker bones.
Drakkar are water creatures.

What I don't understand is why Drakkar are bigger than Glint.
Isn't Glint supposed to be the biggest greature other than the extinct giants?

A Drakkar is a Norwegian sea-dragon. It is also what vikings called their long ships. Eye of The North is heavy in Viking and berserker warrior lore. The Norn's being able to take the form of a bears is influenced heavily by Viking berserkers who wore bear pelts to battle. The town of Sifhalla in GWEN also ironically rhymes with Valhalla, which is the god Odin's hall in Norse mythology where true Norse warriors go when they die.

So it is most likely Drakkar, but what is the connection between the Drakkar and Jora's brothers curse?

It's evil.

Hmm, yes, good things usually corrupt people and make them go insane...

Actually, it's a Giganticus Lupicus probably. It's theorised on Lore fora that the bones found in the Desert and Catacombs are of the Giganticus Lupicus. This creature bears a lot of resemblance to those bones.

There are enormous skeletons strewn all over that part of the world - it's not hard to imagine one was preserved in the frozen lake. I wonder if it's still fresh... =)

Oh sure, two pages on this thread and someone posts the same though I had, just as i'm writing... lol

Yeah same here lol... i don't know what it is but it would make sense to be a drakkar or whatever the lake is called, henche the name.

I did however notice faces in one of the dungeons in the crystals at the end... i was wondering who's face it was... if it was important or just for a cool effect.
