I did it earlier today, and it dl'ed ~450MB. No idea if it was GWEN or not, but I'd already explored/played through all the previous campaigns, so I'd say it's worth doing.

Edit: ah, I was referring to the question about whether or not the -image suffix is worth it.

Well, I bought it... thought I would be smart while imputting my credit card info and use TAB and such to navigate through the form fields...

I accidentally told it I live in Deleware, which I don't, and it processed the transaction, and it went through. That was the only wrong piece of info. everything else, even zip code was right.

The transaction went through, and I can see that the key is applied to my account. Will anything bad happen?

I just sat and stared at that comment for a few seconds. What mental imagery!

I hope you are right.

I pre-ordered through the PlayNC store (when the in-game store wasn't working last week) and so I tried buying the game online there. But PlayNC gave me a stupid error message: "As a security measure we limit individual online serial code purchases. We apologize for the inconvenience. Please try again later. If you have further questions please visit this Support Center article Online Code Purchase Limits. " (Stupid, because the only other thing I have bought was the pre-order a week ago).

Logged into the In-game store and not only did it let me buy it but it gave me the pre-order discount! I thought I would have to pay again since it wasn't the plaync site. This is great

So, will the Mission Pack be available in another way? Mainly, on its own. Already upgraded to GotY and don't really need more slots.

The game will cheaper to get in a store (due to taxes and CAD->USD conversion).

can anyone confirm something for me. I oredered GWEN of the online store this morning (7am GMT) and it all went through ok, online store confirms its added to account. i quickly logged on but it said i couldnt map to the GWEN locations (gave me the message we've had all week). unfortunately, i couldnt hang around to check it out further as i had to leave for work. anyone got any ideas? and as for the -image, i would certainly recommend it. did that yesterday and downloaded 43k odd files

Where do you live? In UK, access to GW:EN was after 8am, according to the time-zone difference.

Transaction is usually a two-three minute thing, more if you have to enter all the data; Not more than 10 mins, tho (well, unless you're REALLY slow at typing and double-check everything several times). Downloading all of it depends on your connection. You can just do an "-image" now and not have to dl a thing once you buy it, of course.

I did the same thing when I purchased NF. Nothing bad happened.

Speaking as a software developer the design of parts of the online store leaves a lot to be desired...

Anyone else getting a "Transaction Failed" message to come up? I put in the credit card info and made sure it was all right and I clicked Purchase and then it says "Processing Transaction". It stays there for about 5 minutes and then says it could not connect with the store. (And yes I do have a working internet connection obviously, and I can still play my characters in Guild Wars).

It's not that the credit card info is bad either, as earlier this morning I was trying to use a different card that was "invalid" and it had a different message. Could it be that too many people are trying to buy?

Store lag is pretty rough right now. "Processing Transaction.." --> "Transaction failed. Timeout when trying to connect to the shop server."
