Nice move from Anet HoM is far better now IMO. I can actually look at my lovely warrior obsi now instead of that ugly sin/rit obsi

Yeah, my font is hard for me to see sometimes too, with my omgwtfhuge resolutions on the various PC's I visit the forums with. That's why I keep a handy set of binoculars on my desk, and a telescope beside my bed, which is about four feet away. Really works wonders.

MY demand? Close to 80%, last time I checked.

And Anets wants/needs seem to involve luring us into a grindathon.

Your demand. You demand it, Anet doesn't want it, you throw a temper tantrum. If 80% of players wanted a "Win" button that killed all monsters in the explorable area, I am sure Anet wouldn't want that either... it is THEIR game.

Also, I fail to see how sterilizing you would help, as pre-pubescent males can't reproduce anyway.

I'm still not happy with A.net basically treating the entire community as their beta testers.

Seriously, there have been a lot of skill and design glitches over the past few months (Vampire Farming in Urgoz, Keen Arrow still being broken after 8 months, dragon festaval finales not properly working, and the HoM clearly not functioning correctly by displaying incorrect character models, amoung other things). These are things that should not be put into a retail version of the game and should have been found in testing.

I still love GW. I'm not ranting and raving, I've just lost confidence in their ability to produce a quality, polished product. Even though they do (usually) fix things fairly timely, the fact that certain glaring mistakes hampers my enthusiasm. For example of a more reccent bug, you can buy as many consumables as you want. So long as you buy them in bulk, it only costs you one skill point. It doesn't properly take away skill points. You can buy star's of transference in large quantity for one skill point, and then reuse them to gain large number of skill points in bulk.

Little things like that just show a lack of polish and proper testing. I'm not buying GW:EN until a.net shows me a reason to believe that they will properly test their product again.

I'll restate what I put in the Gaile on HoM thread:

it's not exactly good news that within a span of days we've gone from high hopes, to huge disappointment, to being told it might not even be finished until the end of the year.

This continues a long trend of unprofessionalism. DoA wasn't ready at release, and was only very recently finally balanced and Mallyx fixed. Sunspear skills 3 months late after being told they were being 'perfected', only to have received a succession of nerfs. Now the most hyped and marketed aspect of EotN is a shambles.

I'll give gratification that they are working on it. But their (*cough GAILE cough*) communication skills are seriously lacking. As is their management in terms of releasing relatively finished products come release.

It's intellectually dishonest for us to be expected to be ecstatic that they are working on this, especially coming after Gaile's straw man arguments against making any changes.
