Yeah it rocks awesomely. Only crit is that now I can run with 3 searing flames heroes all at once, most mobs are dead before I've even landed my broadhead arrow...

I think i'm gonna have to deliberately handicap my heroes until hard mode is unlocked.

Heh, fortunately by the time I tried the tournament I was expecting dual professions. What first surprised me were Charr Blademasters with Conjure Flame, and Charr Flameshielders with Aegis and Meteor Shower.. a nasty surprise for my interrupt ranger.

Personally I've not had any reason to complain about EotN. Yet for some reason whenever an expansion/sequel/campaign comes out for a game that's been around for a while, there's a tendency for players to absolutely hate it. I've noticed this phenomenon in other games, movie franchises, television series, etc.

I have one issue with the game and that is the cap on PvE skills. And well my personal wish for faction with groups to be account based.

Outside of that, I hated the factions preview, hated the nightfall preview, but LOVE this preview. This is what Guild Wars should have been IMO from the second expansion. Mobs working together instead of just massive ones with overpowered skills. Interesting quests and NPCs. New mission system is awesome, and rewards for repeating missions.

My biggest complain is just when GW is looking up finally, it is being abandoned.

Was planning on getting this game just to finish the series but you know expecting another dull boring game. Shocked I was proved wrong so far.

"...But like BryantAgain I am going to reserve final judgment until the full game actually goes live." hehehehehehe....

I dont understand very well this means that the full game, according to you, could be worst than this preview ???? why are you so suspicious ? I am curious to read your argumentation. I know that some people expect too much.

I'm not far--just into Norn areas--and I'm impressed. Screw impressed, I'm stoked. The Mountains: awesome. Just jaw-droppingly gorgeous scenery. Vekk the Asura is well-done, too. The added cutscenes to develop the storyline are great--cutscenes in Mid-QUEST for cryin' out loud! How cool is that! I've tried three of the new skills--the wolf aura, the bear aura, and the Ebon Assassin support--and they are pretty darn fun.

Plus, Gwen's kinda purdy. xoxox.

Well done, A-net!

Ok, I have people that can bitch a lot in my guild, but so far, I have not heard a single bad thing about the game.

Most special moments so far:
- Frozen trees in dungeon (they look awesome)
- Kilroy in Jaga Moraine (the fun began with accepting the quest)

There are lots of little things to see. And one guildie said he found the shiverpeaks look like Norway.

That is no joke, you take a look around with the environment and it’s just spectacular. I mean they went all out on it. There are even hidden places that look amazing. You can even tell some of the programmers had fun as well with this expansion.. I mean all together EotN is a totally different monster.

From that, I will leave my praise to that; till the full game actually comes out.

To echo a number of previous comments, EotN has really, really impressed me so far. I love the little touches. Henchies chatting with one another in Outposts instead of just standing in a line - Cynn throwing a fit while Mhenlo is talking to Lina in Olafstead. *chuckles* The quests are interesting and fun, monsters mix things up - the one-on-one tournament against characters is just awesome, just from a Lore perspective. I lost several of these battles because I was too distracted trying to read the crowd one-liners. Kilroy is just awesome. For what's important to my tastes, I have no complaints.

People just don't understand that this is a teaser! Its like having someone watch a trailer of a movie and expecting to see the whole movie in it! It just no fun to see the whole thing. Personally, my favorite thing was to see that my tallest character, Katherine, got dwarfed by the Norn. It was so funny to see Katherine having to look up at someone! I didn't explore much yet, I was going through the rest of it with a friend but at least they are giving us more time to earn our PVE titles! Being stuck at 99% Tyrian Cartographer is a pain...I must find the rest of the areas! *twitch* I have hall of monuments unlocked at least, so Im good for when it comes out.

Even though it's not likely, are you saying it's impossible that it could be worse?

Yeah, I complained a bit here and there *cough* minipets *cough*, but overall I think the Eye of the North is truly amazing.

I'm looking my eyes out to the marvellous scenery in the Far Shiverpeaks and the dungeons. I love the new quests which are highly challenging for me but not impossible though. I also very much like the better quest rewards.

My compliments go to the level designers / architects and the engine programmers who made possible the greatly increased graphics. Great job ANet!

I also like the new titles and I started hunting some Norn points.

biggest WTF moment i have? my ranger is about as tall as ogden.

Absolutely loving the dungeons, and all the titles, it's great!

Really, I couldn't be happier. My goal is to play the GAME, not get 1337 in HoM.

i'm having a blast with eotn so far! the norn tournament is completely addictive (and lawl @ the builds the npcs use. hamstorm ftw!). the dwarf boxing is hella fun. the art for everything looks great. the dungeons are awesome. not much to QQ about cept for HoM and title grind, but i suspect that'll be fixed soon enough. overall i'm very happy

I haven't had a chance to play more than a few hours on Friday, but I have to say I'm looking forward to the game. I really liked the feel of the PvE areas and story and such and I haven't really PvE'd in quite some time. Maybe it just reminds me of the Tyria and the first game.

I love how beautiful it looks, the scenery is making me explore despite the lack of a cartography title! Way to go art guys, it's just beautiful.

The dungeons are just ftw, I think they're the perfect balance of difficult and reward. I loved how we need to think a little bit differently to get through, the only thing I can suggest is that level map makes it too easy! The atmosphere in the dungeons is incredible... I just love the Sorrows Furnace feel in some of them.

They've obviously put so much effort into this game, the rabbits were just awesome! I was chasing those silly things down to get a screeny of them, and well... we know what happens. (And if you don't, I suggest you go find some rabbits and chase them!)

This preview has made me very excited for when the full game goes live! Brilliant Job ANET, cookies and martinis for all! <3
