Why was the faction reward taken out? I don't see what the need to remove the faction was.

Take for instance 1000 Norn faction for doing Frostmaw's Burrows. At roughly 45min to an hour to get through the place I don't think that's abusive at all really. Not when our alternatives are to simply grab the res shrine buff and hack away mindlessly for no other reason but raise faction.

If anything else I'd rather have had the money reward taken out of the dungeon quest rewards. Having a repeatable quest for faction is far more preferable to grinding for hours on end for no other reason.

I agree with you. The more diverse the rewards for dungeons the better imo. If you start to take out the rewards then you start to take out the fun. The dungeons are fun by themselves, don't get me wrong, but the rewards relly increase the fun. I'm hoping this is just a bug.

I'd prefer the two diamonds to getting 99% of the gold items that may drop out of the chest, which either cannot be sold for any decent amount of money, or would have to be trade spammed for several hours in order to be sold. At least the two diamonds are some ok money with no headaches involved to get said money. When a gold item comes out of that chest instead of diamonds or an onyx stone, that's when I feel ripped off.

I agree that this is not a good thing. They should revert the rewards back to the preview levels. Keep the gold and faction rewards from the Preview in there; there was nothing wrong with any of them. Except perhaps the Nornbear quest that was being somewhat exploited, but that was no reason to nerf everything.

Nornbear -> 3000 per hour.
Drakkar Lake-> 2900-3500 per hour
Frostmaw's Burrows -> 750 per hour.

Why was it removed?

It might be a bug. i completed burrows a few hours ago and got faction reward of 3000, although the quest didn't say anything about faction reward (only 10k xp and 2k gold)

Please complete the burrows and then let us know if it was really nerfed

The quests for the dungeons don't list the faction reward because you now get the reward for killing the boss instead.

Thus, nothing to worry about.

The faction rewards do seem to have been removed....Curse of the Norn Bear quest doesn't give the 500 it should...most of my quests have no faction reward now.

Yeah... there are .... 3... 3... 3.. and 2.
That makes 11 repeatable quests.
Ok. that was... 11x500=5500 faction.
Now, if ou compelte the book you get 2,500.
And the max title is over 110,000 points. So... getting it maxed would require players to make all quests... 60 times.
Heh... funny, eh? Why do they make them repeatable and allow characters to give books if you can't use books with your othe characters and the rewards is... crap.

Now there are even quest with no rewards at all, like the Kilroy ones.

What's this? Everyone complaining about grind and yet they hardcorize it!
