The Norn title grind (or Did they nerf Nornbear?)
I completed most of the Norn storyline during the preview, and was pleased to hear/find that they had lowered the rank requirement for the Norn armor. However, the threads I had read during the preview weekend about the best way to gain rank quickly said (I thought) that the Nornbear quest was 500 faction points. I repeated it today and only received 100. Was this nerfed on final release?
On a more general note, can anyone suggest ways to quickly grind Norn faction? My thanks!

Asura gives 3k for completing a mission first time, 1k for Vanguard so I would think perhaps you get 2k first time, so you can't repeat them for tons, but you get a bigger bonus for doing it.

Clearing out an entire zone, and holding off from all rez shinres (less the one to get the hunting activated) netted me about 3k norn faction. Clear the zone, then visit all the shrines.

Dakkar Lake gives out over 4k on average. If you luck out and get Time Attacks and fulfill them, even more.

Yeah take the 1st bounty and clear the area, then go back to the rest of the rest point for lot of faction points. Agree with ^ Dakkar Lake is the best for norm imo. That big monster under the lake still gimme the creep though. :P

Varajar Fells outside (and around) Olafstead is my personal hunting grounds.
Granted, it has its own undead trap (that monk boss and his uber-hoarde of spellcasters surrounding by a ring of dervishes, surrounded themselves by numerous individual air-ele spawns).... but is less hassle than sacrificing Acolyte Sousuke to the bunny of death south of the Lake (in order to trigger the trap from outside and fight all the way in).
Nornbear repeating?
Never even considered trying that. Don't suppose I can be bothered either.

Cool...thanks all. The most valuable lesson learned here is to save the shrines for last...I have been cashing in on the shrines as I came to them. I appreciate the input!

Hmmm....interesting take on how to use the shrines. But I find that i get the higher ranks more redily if i use the shrines. As in rank 2,3,4 for the hunt.
