I found solution to it. Three GOOD BUILD monk heroes, two monk henchmen, two warrior henchmen (or one illusionist and one interrupter).

First off you need 3 powder keg bombs to weaken his carapace, THEN you get to do the damage, in about a few seconds the bar fills up he hides and pops up and you had to re apply powder keg bombs to weaken his carapace again to do damage! Worst part is his skills do 80 fire dmg, KD and cause cripple and if your kerry the keg it explodes! I am having an insane time trying to kill him not going past 70% health. Could anet at least make it so that his health doesnt regenerate?
"3 powder keg bombs"? I don't remember doing any such thing. All I recall is pressing C, Spacebar, and waiting for him to die. Full team of hench/hero, so nobody else used any bombs.

Killining him would be very slow, not to mention getting to him. With 2 monk henchmen and 1 monk hero, I had about no deaths getting to him, about 2 deaths fighting him.

You need to destroy his carapace to damage him. So either he was bugged for you, or you're just lying.

I though he was a pushover..
I beat him with 2 ele's, a warrior, 3 monks (2 heal, 1prot), 1 mesmer, 1 necro

I only had to weaken his carapace twice. The first time I brought him to half health and the second time I finished him off.

I'm at him to, just fought him once and lost, but i heard spoil victor does wonders to him being able to hurt him even with his carapace up.

I beat him in about 13-20 seconds. I don't know why everyone says he's impossible.

He is definitely not easy on a first try, but once you experience him and know what to expect, he can be much easier with the right build, even with hero/hench. Also, as has been said above in this thread, you can damage him even when his carapace is at full strength, with blood necro life stealing/armor ignoring skills (and others, I'm sure). My first try, he completely destroyed my party, over and over and over....

When I knew what to expect, I went as a Savannah Heat fire ele, with Sousuke as a SH fire ele/rit with Shelter. I also took MoW and Olias as Spoil Victor blood necros. For hench, I took the Mhenlo and Lina (I seriously wish we had a second healer hench like Kihm, rather than Lina... Lina=meh ), Talon and Lo Sha. I manually had Sousuke set up Shelter before engaging Cyndr, and then I ran the powder kegs. Meanwhile, with both Olias and MoW using Spoil Victor and their other life stealing skills on him, Cyndr was down to around 33% health by the time his carapace fell the first (and only) time, and with a Savannah Heat from both me and Sousuke, he died within seconds. You win some, you lose some . . . . He was an interesting boss at first, no doubt, but with proper planning, he's absolutely doable with H/H.

ps: forgot to mention that flagging your heroes is a great idea and may work with different builds, but I found that with the team build that I ran, I didn't need to flag anyone...much easier and less of a headache.

To those having trouble, no it's not just you. This wurm's a real bitch. My wife and I beat him on the second try, just barely; we kept cracking his shell until he spawned RIGHT next to the power keg dwarf. Then we'd just run out at 60% DP, get Spoil Victor on him, he'd slaughter us and take a bit of damage... rinse, lather repeat. Finally cracked his shell and killed him once he was down to about 10% health.

Not elegant, but it worked eventually, and it was worth it to not have to go through those stupid snowball traps and toucher elementalists a third time.

I honestly had no problem killing this guy. I used the same heroes/henchies I used all game up to that point - me as cripslash war, 2 SF ele heroes, LoD monk Hero, the two monk hench, cynn, and the interupt. Beat the whole game up to destructions depths with that (excluding GOLEM as you need to split and I hate controlling henchies) I ran the bombs and killed him after 2 cycles easy peasy. BTW never moved my heroes, but I know i set dunkoro/hero monk to flight always and switched the ele's between guard and flight as their energy dropped or he was invulnerable. That should help a bunch.

I killed it with entire party of hench and heroes with 60% DP and no SS nor SV, just good old running and dodging attacks while dropping kegs... many many kegs

Cyndr is harder than the end boss (Spoilers: The Great Destroyer), from what I've experienced with my ranger.

What? Just bring Livia with Spoil Victor, spread your heroes and put henches behind. Prot spirit on you and you tank him. Sure, I got killed few times, but because I flagged henches on a river of flames... Anyway, Spoil Victor > Cyndr.
And if The Great Destroyer is easier, then... Well, he's the easiest end-game boss ever. I think that Lich is now 2nd easiest end-game boss.

The Disc is the hardest boss, simply because he seems to have about 50k health.
