Don’t know if this has been brought up before, but search didn't reveal anything about it.

So I take Gwen out for the 1st time, to do her quests, and as I went to give her a weapon set from storage I notice that the armor she is wearing and the armor that shows up next to her are totally different. Anyone else noticed this? And Just out of curiousity, which set is the real Vanguard mesmer armor, what she's wearing or what she's supposed to be wearing?

EDIT: Just checked on the other GW:EN heros, and all but Ogden's armors are off as well. :/

A lot of heroes are like that expecially in Nightfall. They just didn't make new icons for some of the hero armor so it looks completely different.

Oh thank god, I thought this was going to be another GWEN IS IMMODEST thread. lol. Yeah, I believe it was considered a waste of time to design new armour tabs/thumbnails for hero armour, which makes sense. It is certainly not something that I want put as first priority in game.
