Today I started doing that mission with a friend of mine, splitting and all, we got something like 15 cores and splitted them. I't nonsens soloing this, the drop rate is the same.

Its worse than just remove, the mesmers use Shatter Enchantment which does about 120 damage to the target + ench loss... easy 55 kill. Shadow Form Might work, but i wouldnt be surprised if the necs have Chilblains.

I had the same experience and CHunterX with Skree Wings, did it on my warrior and got 1 in an hour then 55ed it and got 9 in 90 mins, (first nesting material wouldn't go into storage -_-). If anyone does have a warrior build for this i'm still looking

just try going in with a full party h/h or people and go through the whole thing (about 20 min ) usually get 2-8 (i got 10 last time + 2 gold drops o.o)

In this farm, you send heroes away so that 7 of them hold one entrance, while you hold the other one solo.

Mobs come from two sides, and NPCs alone can't handle it.

That being simply because I have fought quite a lot of Destroyers by now.... and always been able to cover Critical Agility with Way of Perfection OR Critical Defenses.... It has always been in the middle (due to the way the Critical ones work)... and yet I've managed to maintain it just fine. No Chilblains on the Destroyers...

In any case... the Mesmers are always my first targets when I run in. Get rid of them and the rest are a laugh (possibly with the exception of the Rangers, since I don't have Wild Strike or Wild Blow to get rid of their annoying stance)...
I can't quite solo a large hoarde of them, but I can take down quite a few on my own, and if I'm lucky then Death Blossom on the Warriors will take down adjacent Rangers too (denying them the oppurtunity to block).

Theres a new ele build with Stoneflesh, Stonestriker, Mantra of Earth, Obsidian Flesh and Glyph of Swiftness. The last can make sure u keep ur Obsidian up forever. That might be a nice build, combined with some Sliver Armor.

Get friends, people.

My girlfriend and I have gotten piles upon piles of Destroyer Cores (sold 75 last night) just from doing Glint's Challenge a handful of times. (read: Handful. No more than 5)

Why solo something in 5 minutes when you can run the entire mission and greatly increase your destroyer core drops for an extra 10-15 minutes? It's very counter productive.

Because not everyone has somebody to help them with the farming process.

My girlfriend doesn't even have her own computer... let alone her own GW account.

ANET needs to serious balance friendship. It is way too overpowered for us who opt to go the friendless route.
