Oddly, i have had the same thought and suggested it in another thread.

My thought was for one skill point to be exchangable for 100 to 500 rep points with a 'collector' somewhere towards the end of the story campaign (maybe the central transfer place). You get to pick which rep you want to buy of course.

Would suit me, as i have hundreds of skill points and very little to do with them.

Peace,

Ferret

I think you should be able to choose which blessing to get in a Dungeon, instead of always getting the dwarf blessing from the beacon. Have an NPC for each faction which gives the blessing, but only allow one blessing active at a time.

Well that can start by making Rank upgrades more easier to get or common, nothing more annoying then clearing a whole zone and getting rank 2 at the end of it all :P

Doesn't completing vanguard area dungeons give 1k rep points in vanguard or so? This happens for norn, so why it shouldn't for vanguard. Seems odd to me.

I like that skillpoint-for-X reputation idea. 100 points per SP would do just fine.

Current SP uses are so ... useless (easy mode items? no, thanks. super salvage kit? cool, but used once in blue moon. Star of Transference? say hi to tomes.)

I understand that the creatures you kill in the dungeons only contribute to the Dwarven title, but at least according to the official wiki (the one run by GW) the rewards for completing the dungeons are actually distributed pretty evenly between all four title tracks. Hope this helps someone.

Swap reputation and xp rewards :P

Or greatly increase the reputation rewards. If it's for level 20's, what use is xp? Nothing really, skill points, about it. But the reputation points are, and they help lessen the grind etc to get the titles, and 250 isn't that much, when you'd see greater amounts for sunspear quests, and those were storyline essential

Norn fighting tournament or polymock? LOL!

i completed the polymock quest line.... future rewards are NOT WORTH IT.

I mean 50 asuran points for beating hoff? NOT WORTH IT. You can kill 50 enemies faster in magus stones. You would have to fight him 20 times for 1000 points.

My computer is SLLLLLOOOOOOOW, so just loading arena/rata sum can take forever.

If beating hoff was worth 100 points, I would constantly beat his butt and would be much more worth it. But I reached rank 5 so i don't care.

Ebon has not exactly a lot for getting points i want rank 5 but i am just... i'm just exhausted. All of the main quests didnt even get you to rank 3! And ebon only has I think 3 dungeons tied to them.

So yeah, I wont see the monument armor I want for a long time

At least in asura-related dungeons, like Oola's lab, you should get asuran points.

It's a bit odd. specially in the Charr homelands. Not a single dwarf miles around, yet you get dwarven points.

I agree - Ebon vangard got the short end, and its the hardest or boringest title to go for. Yah theres repeatable quests, but they dont seem to give out as many points as the asuran ones.

Yeah, the Vanguard area is too small... at least (i think) we get significant vanguard rep from some of the dungeons there.

Yeah well so far without any farming for points i have gotten

10k from asura storyline
6k from norn
(yet to complete vanguard, doing that right now though.)
and 5k dwarven.

Bugs me because i want norn armor and not asura

And it sucks even more that this weekend isn't a double rep weekend Its a tournament reward weekend.

Completing Veiled Threat gives you 3k Vanguard points - not sure if it's repeatable or not.

Upon repeat, veiled threat gives something like 100 or 300 Vanguard faction, not 3k.

Yes please. The chest reward isn't great enough most the time to make dungeon visits worthwhile, but I'd go more often for the crappy, merchable gold and 3000ish rep.

yea, ive been trying to get my male ele the monument armor and is taking forever. another thing that saddened me about the vangaurd stroyline was that going back to the charr was the main selling point for me to buy eton. so naturally i did that one last, hoping it would boost the excitment of it even more for me, only to find out its the shortest, smallest area and seems to be the one anet put the least amount of effort into.

Yeah, I'd go for not reducing the rep points for repeating. You still got to do the dungeon anyway, so why not get points for it. Either way, you're still grinding, it's just more interesting than vanquishing areas over and over.

Otherwise, most dungeons aren't really worth much. Unless you're going for greens, getting a gem and some gold merch food ain't exactly great. Well, except for slavers for the deldrimor remnants. Jora in deldrimor with fellblade and shadow shield is very nice

I would just rather see hard mode added. Be easier to title up. Alot of suggestions would have people hit max ranks in days. One play through without grinding got me rank 4 in all titles sans Ebon. But that was the smallest area.

I've not seen anyone suggest this, and I'm not sure why. Please tell me if there's a good reason...

Why don't they make scrolls to increase rep rewards. They are all based on XP at the moment, which is ridiculously easy to get and almost completely useless once at level 20. Surely scrolls for rep in EOTN would be a sensible way to go?

Compared to the asura rank, I got rank 5 vanguard faster, a lot faster. While doing Anton's quests, I always cleared the char encampment and the big plains. I think the dungeon's in char homelands give a lot of experience, but I didn't pay attention. If people want rank faster, I agree with the scroll idea, seems balanced.
